@WhiteBronze392 Build

Let us know how 40s on stock axles with wheel spacers work out.
Mine have been going stong for a solid year with pretty decent wheeling once a week.

FYI what I have been dealing with for the past weeks and likely what was wrong with the PS that cost me $4k and a ton of headaches. I am going to see if I can find the part at a local dealer in Daytona or I’ll order one and hopefully this fixes it but it’s driving me insane!

Edit: found one local going to pick it up and 🤞

I will report back

Wayalife's issue ended up being a main harness near the back of his truck.

You definitely didn't waste 4k on PSC, you need that regardless.

Haha very true didn’t say waste just cost which I wasn’t planning on right now but glad I did. I would have probably stayed electric pump with PSC hydro assist down the road had I not had the issue but glad I did now.

BTW I picked up the part at the local Daytona dealer this morning installed it in the parking lot and it’s fixed …..for now 🤞

That's great.

I am going to start carrying a spare CANBUS, 4 axles, z-auto locker bypasses and a TC with me everywhere I go.

We got in this morning after loading everything up to leave Daytona and everything was working fine and continued to work fine all the way home. Since I know it didn’t fix itself I continued with my plan to start at the back and work my way forward checking every wire and connection. I looked underneath to make sure nothing got pinched when they installed the coil over brackets and all looked good but I still checked all the connections.

Since my first random alert (other than the EPS fiasco) was a service BSM error I decided to start with the tail lights next. I found that the rod for the tailgate that goes into the tail light cavity had been rubbing on the wiring and there was a fault in one of the BSM wires as I hadn’t tied them out of the way adequately when I changed tail lights. Crossing my fingers this is what was the problem but it makes sense it coming and going depending on opening and closing the tail gate. Of course since it worked fine the entire trip home I don’t know for sure 🤷‍♂️

Good catch. Fault troubling shooting is fun, lol.

I'm a big fan of wire loom.

The Can Bus links he listed in that video are not compatible when you check the fitment chart for our 392's. Does anyone know the correct part # as its a cheap part to carry just in case. Happy to hear you found your gremlin!

It actually is the right part number although some sites show it will not fit. The dealer I purchased from confirmed and it’s a exact match
yep those sites say it will not fit but it is the correct part number

I was guessing it was the same can bus as all the wrangler models but when you type in your VIN or choose the 392 it says not compatible..?
Yep it’s weird but the dealers computer said it was the right part number
