It's a big installation. I wouldn't tackle it, even if I wasn't injured.Spent all day installing the PSC hydro assist and I do mean all day lol. I have power steering again yay! That install is not for the faint of heart for sure. I still have some adjusting to do and install the Antirocks tomorrow.
Between the videos and PDF instructions on their site and their excellent packing PSC gives you really good instructions it’s just a lot to do!
All parts are definitely quality. I ended up fabbing my own cooler mount bracket as there was no way i was removing my winch and grill to install their mount. I like mine better anyway lol.
That's really nice. Mine seems like a budget build now with you and Phil going all crazy....View attachment 46695View attachment 46696View attachment 46697View attachment 46698Finished up today for jeep beach. Well almost I still need to see if I can cut the front AAL liners around the coilover bracket or order the rebel ones. That is a project for later lol.
I also removed wire brushed and retightened all the ground on the passsenger side and so far so good. I also installed the Apex alternator so could have been that as well.View attachment 46703
It went up about 5” from what it was before. I measured against my friends stock suspension on 37” Toyos and it’s right 7” higher of course some of that is tires. More than I anticipated to be honest. Rebel said they can work with me on springs if I want it lower. How much lift did the Rebel kit give you compared to your previous lift? You are running stock axles with 40's, looks great.
Haha thank you! Phil makes mine seem budget with the awesome axlesThat's really nice. Mine seems like a budget build now with you and Phil going all crazy....
Yes it is for sure I got lucky on the box that’s the worst part would hate to have to pull it out again. Trust me I tried to pay the shop that did the coil overs but he was swamped before Jeep Beach and couldn’t add it as well so I had no other choiceIt's a big installation. I wouldn't tackle it, even if I wasn't injured.
To make matters worse, my first box had a spool valve issue, so we had to install a second box. The shop also punctured my AC condenser, so that was more work. I am so happy that I just paid them to do it.
Go big axles and ship me yours! It went up about 5” from what it was before. I measured against my friends stock suspension on 37” Toyos and it’s right 7” higher of course some of that is tires. More than I anticipated to be honest. Rebel said they can work with me on springs if I want it lower.
Yes changed gears ball joints and had them trussed and gusseted. Going to run them for a while and see how they hold up while I save and decide on axles
Thank you very much! My buddy that just got here to head to jeep beach together said the same thing about hisMy stock 392 looks like a toy now ! Very nice build.
You guys are giving my build too much cred; but thanksHaha thank you! Phil makes mine seem budget with the awesome axles
