@WhiteBronze392 Build

Looks like you went with the Ultra front. What did you do about the sway bar? Any concerns when doing drops on the aluminum bumpers?
That’s correct. Through some research I found out that you could rotate the swaybar motor rather easily which tucks it up out of the way.

How about your comfort level with pounding aluminum into rocks?

From what I’ve seen they hold up very well and I’m not that rough

Edit also they are much thicker and substantial than you can tell by looking so would take quite a bit of abuse. Definitely offers way more protection than OEM but less obviously than similar in steel

Man, I still can't decide what I want to do

I also took the plunge on the Artec belly skid system over Memorial Day. They haven’t been shipped yet. I’ll have to be a bit creative with the installation because they share some mounting points with my rock sliders.

I’m curious if there will be any galvanic corrosion issues with the aluminum plates against the steel frame and sliders. 🤔

If it helps thus far I have no regrets on what I’ve done
They look great. My peeps talked me out of aluminum stating steel would be best for my offroad style. I think it means that I am a crappy driver.

🤣🤣 thank you very much. But think of it this way if you haven’t mangled the crap out of your OEMs thus far you would be fine with AL that is even stronger and more out of the way

True but I am starting to do more difficult trails. I taped the rear several times yesterday so it's a matter of time.

Can I get some pictures and details on this sway bar Motor move ? Thanks guys
See if this helps.

Seems like you can also purchase the $5 worth of parts for $49 if you want.

I think my Rusty’s oil pan skid is about the same weight as your whole kit.
These steel skid sets are heavy for sure. I ordered a complete Metalcloak Undercloak skid set including resonator and muffler skid, should come in at 224lbs.:eek:

Yep, I have a full Rusty’s kit but I need steel vs Aluminum. I tend to beat the crap out of mine.
