October 8thWhen did you order?
Sorry to hear. Im trying to get a ship date. Told me on the phone Monday that my jeep will be built and ready to ship by today. So I’m going to call Friday and check to see if there is a ship date. Not that a ship date means anything.NICE!!!

I just wonder if when you changed your color they didn’t just put in a whole new order and put you back at the end of the line again.October 8th
That’s what I’m thinking. But dealer system still shows it with original order date and original VIN but updated PJF paint code. And if it’s a new order all together I’m screwed since it was after XR was put on indefinite holdI just wonder if when you changed your color they didn’t just put in a whole new order and put you back at the end of the line again.
Dammit boy. That’s what I’m thinking. But dealer system still shows it with original order date and original VIN but updated PJF paint code. And if it’s a new order all together I’m screwed since it was after XR was put on indefinite hold![]()
I'm also worried about your price protection. My salesman assured me on the call yesterday that the original quoted price is still valid. Have you seen any other Jeeps built with your paint color? That’s what I’m thinking. But dealer system still shows it with original order date and original VIN but updated PJF paint code. Did you sign anything about the price agreement? Deposit?I'm also worried about your price protection. My salesman assured me on the call yesterday that the original quoted price is still valid. Have you seen any other Jeeps built with your paint color?

Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your vehicle has been built and is pending installation of additional equipment. This is a necessary step when additional features or optional equipment packages are added to the vehicle. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided. At this time we can advise checking back in a week for an update11/7 Ordered

Jeep chat always said “gathering parts”
Today - “Thank you so much for holding. I am showing all of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process very soon.”
I asked does this mean it’s still in D and she said it’s in no status???
Has anyone received this response from Jeep chat about all the parts needed are in? Maybe I caught them at a in between status?
Yes. I had it in writing. Put $1000 down Oct 8, '21. Picked it up yesterday. It's up there with the best new car experience that I ever had, and I've bought at least 10 new cars. The dealer gets all 10's on the survey. They held the quoted price true to the penny, which was a discount using the 'Tread Lightly' program. The window sticker, which has my name on it, was given to me encapsulated in clear plastic. Nice touch. It had the January price increase of over $2000, which was for anyone who was NOT me, to pay. The sticker was $86 and change, but I paid $84.2 out the door.Did you sign anything about the price agreement? Deposit?
Gosh Yukon, you and I have been through hell together. See my reply (thesis) to 22 392. Hopefully, your end experience at the dealer will be as good as mine. I like your color and was tempted to change when I saw what you did on your order, but decided to leave mine with white, which I really like. I also was afraid to mess with my order. One by one, dealer employees, who were eyeing my new Jeep, came and talked to me about how cool it was. One of them had a blue 392, the only 392 that came to the dealership, and the person who ordered it backed out. HE LOVED HIS JEEP. Even the Finance guy drove a lifted, decked out Wrangler, and told me iT was no problem if I wanted to back out. He said he "could" even give me $2000 back (my deposit was $1000) if I wanted to walk away.@shojeep did see a high velocity yellow in person. Several have posted, including one 392 that wasn’t mine
But GM set up a call today with regional… original order with XR is still good. Was supposed to be started April 1st (I know, right???) but something was unavailable (they couldn’t say what) so it’s back in queue for allocated build. No clue still as to when, but they confirmed build specs and price![]()
Here it isThanks @shojeep ! Appreciate the support... and man, i am glad for you, brother! I put $5000 down on October 8th... Dealer only requested $500 but I said "I'm willing to drop $5k to show you how serious I am after getting jerked around by the other dealer - who never deposited my $500... so they were extremely happy with that and have been really good to work with. I'm hopeful! With you finally getting yours, there is a spark! And your guys at your dealer are right: the days are numbered. I'm betting we don't see them past MY 2023.
