Order status and Jeep chat

That's great! I just put in my deposit last night, so now I wait and hopefully don't run into the same issue.

I of course as I ALWAYS do, had a midnight hour meltdown about color (between sarge and snazz, and lesser extent hydro blue). I didn't really look at snazz berry before, but it's a NICE color. I was at my local dealer today and saw it on a JL. It's really nice, but I justified in my mind that with the gold accents it looks TOO fancy on a 392 :LOL:.

Plus, I got my '16 75A in GCM and I always regretted a little bit not getting sarge. So now I'm going to make up for it.

I'm already itchin' to get some Katzkin black and tan seats in it...which would look great in either sarge or snazz.

Hey, hey… making progress! I jumped for joy when my build sheet appeared, and then again when the window sticker was available. For me, the vehicle arrive at the dealership about three weeks after the window sticker appeared.

If it helps, last I heard Snazz is no longer available for the 392 - someone correct me if I'm wrong here.
 
@dog that helps. So I can just say "oh well XR and Snazz are cool, but they weren't even an option". haha

I gotta say, it grew on me quick. Some of the online pics have it shined up (or maybe shopped up lol) and damn...

My jeep for 10 years was red rock crystal, and I saw the Snazz in the jeep.com builder and thought it was basically purple... I ordered my 22 XR in sarge. Then, I saw snazz in real life and it's much closer to this picture, and I loved it, but it was too late to change to snazz :(

End of the day I think sarge is gonna look fantastic and I've seen it on other vehicles around town, so I'm happy! I did have some moments of uncertainty about the color. Then again, I don't think I would have chosen a red jeep for my first one, but that was what was available, and I fell absolutely in love with it. I'm sure I'll love having a green jeep too.

Now that Gobi is out, I think there's a good chance I would have chosen that color! But I know myself well enough that I just like new and shiny things, and I'll love whatever I get, so probably not gonna try and mess with my current order, haha.
 
I'm not a fan of Gobi for some reason. It just looks flat and boring to me. Just opinion.

I always try to like the flashier colors on jeeps and I can't ever get to it. Snazzberry is tough because it's a little on the flashier side, but it's still sorta classy looking.

In the end, I love the military-esque idea of Sarge. It just goes on a jeep. I think the only color that's been even better at that is that muted lighter green that was on the JK earlier in its run.

and yah, the Jeep site sucks for colors. They are always so off. When Ocean blue came out and was on the site, I was like 'take my money', but then saw it in real life and was like...blurple. Nope, don't take my money.

Anytime I second guess, I bring up this pic and remind myself...Yup, Sarge...definitely Sarge.

Jeep chat told me mine is finished production and waiting for inspection :)....I hesitated the 392 in January (sticker shock) and ordered the 2.0 rubi. After picking up 20 xtra hours per week, I canceled and ordered a 392 1.5 months ago mid March.. The color choice drove me crazy especially matching the bronze. All good choices. I decided to go black. Black wont make me second guess on color. It will only make me look at the other colors & say how nice they look.
 
I like the way black looks on it. Old cj, yjs, and tjs done up in black and tan are some of my favorites.

I really hope my order doesn’t take months. I want to enjoy it for enough time in case I end up forking it over next year for some 20th A or some other hemi they may put out…especially if it has something comparable to the XR. I don’t need XR for what I’ll do, but I would have gotten it if I could have for sure.

Already let my dealer know that‘s my plan, but who knows what Stellantis will do for next year. We could just see in-line 6’s in everything 🤣. At least I’d still have a 392 at that point (hopefully, if my order doesn’t take forever lol).
 
Five months and one week since order and it has been in JB status for over a week, at vendor. Good grief 😡
 
Just about 7 months to START production. Prod started this week. Hoping by next week it updates to shipping. Then, just hoping it’s not a 2 month train ride….
 
Ordered mid November as well. Just hit KZLD whatever that is? Sting Grey XR with everything except Trail rail mgmt.
 
KZL is released for shipping - but not shipped.

The extra D has me stumped. Unfortunately, it’s usually a damage code or missing parts code, but it’s usually with an O like KZOD where the O indicates it’s been in transit.

Might be missing a part due to parts holds, for, you know, supply chain BS
