over 8 months. i can almost here her now. 5 weeks to get here ready

Since I found so much helpful information during my nearly 8 month wait for my 392, I wanted to take a little time to share my timelines with the folks that are currently clicking that order status refresh button every few minutes.

It doesn't show on the jeeponorder.com status page for some reason, but it shipped on 2/13 and we took delivery on 2/24.

The wait is ABSOLUTELY worth it. I'm still in the break-in period, so haven't had it above 4k RPM, but I can't help but just smile like a child on Christmas morning every time I get in to drive. I've added my winch and a bunch of recovery gear and am heading out to the trails of Western Washington on Saturday for her first time offroad.

Let me know if you have any questions about the process or if you just need a shoulder to cry on.

I'll add too that clicking on the order status every few minutes is not productive. The order status updates frequently for the dealer systems, but the customer vehicle order tracker info only updates in batch "overnight". You can refresh all you want, but I think it will only update once every day (and not on Sunday, I was told).
