Order status and Jeep chat

Very exciting to get an email from Cryptostickers a couple of days ago that my build sheet was up. Seeing *any proof of life* for this "SOLD VEHICLE" after the past 5 months of crickets was exciting, but it looks like they missed date to leave the factory, and then the next day, and the next day ...

Also, the Eruption Green is a good green. Not sure it will age well, but it looks better than most. It was a top three choice for me for my BRaptor. Went with Code Orange in the end though. We'll see in a month and a half or so how it looks next to the Hydro Blue Pearl in the garage.
Yeah, wife likes it, it’s growing on me. Gets a lot of “love it”s, but ALOT of indifference as well. Truth be told, I bought it at a SIGNIFICANT ADM to move to the front of the line for a Code Orange BRap...🤷🏻‍♂️ Gotta do what ya gotta do. I’m very late to the game with Broncos and can’t believe those types are waiting even longer than the 392 crowd, and sure don’t want to be at the back of THAT line

NICE!!!

(Mine still hasn’t even been scheduled to start production 😡 )

Dude, I really feel for you. Maybe consider this: find out exactly what’s causing the holdup. Is it the trail rail system? Could be, they have shortages of that material. I tried ordering one after the fact but it’s on backorder. If it is the trail rail system holding it up, just delete that option and have it installed later, it’s not that hard or invasive at all.
I’d be worried the longer you wait, the odds are increasing daily where they might suddenly tell you “sorry, we had to cancel your order, here’s your money back.”

It is absolutely unacceptable in any circumstance that an October order is still not built. I hate to say it, but maybe your dealer had no allocation left and they’re lying to you, stringing you along. Regardless, step one, in my humble opinion, is to find out exactly what piece part is holding up your build.

Thanks @HearHear …. Neither the GM nor the regional could speculate on what, if any, part is the holdup. But as far as I can tell based on other deliveries, the one piece that doesn’t seem to be on the builds is the rail management, so I think you’re right on the money there..

Both also did everything they could to assure me it will be built… it‘s a pretty large dealership, think top 15 in volume in US and I was their first ‘22 order, so most likely (but can’t rule out) not an allocation issue. Plus, when I asked the regional, response was sold orders are priority and limited allocations aren’t a factor at this point.

So I wait. And wait. And hope like hell that it isn’t ultimately cancelled.

I had one that came in Nov 2021 and since I already had a regular 392 and had so much going on in my life they ordered me another one and sold that to a good customer of the dealer. As of today that Nov order is still sitting. A vin has Been assigned but has not moved down the line. The dealer said he is having same problem with another customers build.

Its supply shortage he told me. Meanwhile I already bought a used one with 350 miles it.

I ordered a new Vette and it arrived with a note saying the sensors for the back up cam are not available so when they are they will install them. Its a mess thats why I found one already built as I dont know if the other one will ever show or of so what it will be missing.

I heard that some are showing up with Uconnect feature missing.

I am actually glad as I got a 2021 and I heard the 22's are governed to 97mph top speed.

Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your vehicle has been built and is pending installation of additional equipment. This is a necessary step when additional features or optional equipment packages are added to the vehicle. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided. At this time we can advise checking back in a week for an update
Mine is starting to move along good now. 👍🏻
Ordered 11/19, XR with matte grille and tow hitch. Waiting additional equipment to be installed. 😩

Just putting in my order today. I'm going with a lot of options. I'm starting to worry that I may get held up like some of you.

1 touch
tow
half doors
body graphic
gorilla glass
trail rail
front camera
black grill
doors off mirrors
hinge gate

I saw your stuff about the trail rail. That worries me a bit. I told my dealer to let me know if they are aware of anything on my order that could hold it up.

@YukonCornelius

Maybe if we're held up long enough, they convert us and give us first crack at whatever 20th anniversary Rubi they do.

I already told my dealer to add me to their list of people for a 20A and if they didn't have a list yet, make one and put me as #1 on it. haha.

Anyway, the order conversion thing is basically what happened with bronco order holders. If you had an order still pending, they let you switch it over to a Bronco Raptor order if you wanted one.

Just took delivery today. Can’t say enough good about the sales lady and dealership both have been fantastic to work with. Ms Jenn Krunkle at Fury Motors. was honest and helpful through the whole process. She said right at the beginning “ You know you won’t see this till March or April”. Which was good with me. If I have to I have to. This beast is worth the wait. She called when it went into production and called today to say it arrived this morning. She apologized for the short notice. But shipping info was hacked by people trying to figure when the performance cars and trucks were in rail yards so they could steal them. So it got shut down. A lot of the delay she said was due to resin and chips in short supply. But it’s here and weather is just starting to break for the better. Perfect timing. So hang in there everybody. Patience

I saw your build sheet pop up on crypto today. Finally, good for you! I have a Nov 17th order with no movement yet. Hopefully I’m right behind you! I’m sure we will all forget about this nightmare once we’re driving our new Jeep!

Holy freakin' cow you're right, @YukonCornelius showing Build: FOUND this is huge news!!!

@YukonCornelius - Woohoo! Now it's at least a little more real!

Just for laughs I hit up Jeep Chat to see if my Jeep had gone anywhere. My build sheet showed up on Cryptostickers on 4/21. As of tonight they said "I am showing that your vehicle has been built and is pending installation of additional equipment. This is a necessary step when additional features or optional equipment packages are added to the vehicle. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided."

My dealer had told me they were seeing 4/19 to leave the factory up until last week. Guess not, but at least it's built! Anybody looking for a 911? About to have one for sale. :)

I never asked Jeep chat anything or looked up anything on crypto. Just relied on the dealer. Took lots of patients.

Very Nice. I hope for speedy build and shipping. Well on the road to Funville.

@YukonCornelius I've never wanted someone else to get a new jeep more than I wanted one for myself before, but in this case I'm sure I'm not the only one here who can say I'm SO THRILLED for you to finally be in build status!!

Super happy for you and congratulations! Can't wait to see it when it arrives! You do a lot for this community/forum and we appreciate you <3
