Order status and Jeep chat

IMHO... Jeep Chat is completely, utterly, unquestionably useless....
I'm about to go postal.

Figured that it was a week and I was coming off my high thinking I got good news last with the "it's now scheduled and about to enter production shortly" response. So, thinking they may actually tell me the thing FINALLY started its build, I was hoping for even better news.... Nope.

Back to the same "in the scheduling phase waiting on all parts to be available and gathered, when they are your vehicle will be scheduled for production" phase. So basically where it's been since December.

So, will one of you kind folk please pull a Cousin Eddie for me and deliver the SOB in charge of Jeep Chat to my living room... in a big red bow?

Same here!

I just hit 150 days and contacted Jeep Chat to celebrate. This time they gave the trademarked

"Thank you so much for holding. I am showing your vehicle has been scheduled for production. The vehicle should be entering the build process shortly."

After watching what happened to @YukonCornelius, I am not holding my breath, but it is nice to have some change, even if it is in fact, false. No change on Cryptostickers yet.

Just talked to my dealer and he said it's expected to leave the factory on 4/23. He said from there he's seen transit to our area (Southern MA) be anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks more. Guess I'll take the good with the bad. :)

And yes, I'm another person who wishes Jeep did factory delivery like Porsche and Corvette. I'd have chosen that in a heartbeat.

Sorry for your luck. We ordered the same basic jeep on the same day. Talked to my salesman yesterday, and he said mine is waiting to go on a rail car in Toledo.
Did you at least get a build sheet?
SHOJEEP

Ordered my 2022 Tuscadero Pink 392 Recon Package December 14
Was in "D" status by 1/20/22
Went to JB status on 2/16
3/2 was on train headed to TX
Picked it up 3/23 All updates were given by dealership

Was wondering how many 392's are in Tuscadero Pink?

Ordered my 2022 XR Nov 13th, arrived at Koons today (April 1st).

5.5 months. 😖

Just declined it though because I found and bought a dealer lot 392 XR in December.

Hello All,
Placed a order with Chapman yesterday (nice and quick process)
status: BA build priority: 01 schedule priority "sold order"
Got a VON# , now I guess I just wait and wait and wait some more? lol

11/7 Ordered
11/10 Vin#

11/7 - today
Jeep chat always said “gathering parts”

Today - “Thank you so much for holding. I am showing all of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process very soon.”

I asked does this mean it’s still in D and she said it’s in no status???

Has anyone received this response from Jeep chat about all the parts needed are in? Maybe I caught them at a in between status?
I ordered 8/13/21 a 392 XR Tuscadero with every option was getting runaround but on 3/28/22 I recieved my vehicle

I do wish there was a rhyme or reason to the “three months” or seven +” months it seems to take these to get built and delivered. It doesn’t seem to be conponents or colors and my dealer claims it is not allocations … 🤷‍♂️ Looking more and more like I’ll be in the way seven + camp.

Welcome fellow Tuscadero 392!!!!
I have the same options too. Jeep finally arrived at dealer; waiting on transport to CA...... If they do not bring Recon/392/tuscadero back again; I wonder how many were built with those options?........

Today I had an interesting chat with Jeep Chat. My 392 is supposed to be ready for shipment from Jeep to the Dealership on April 6, 2022. today Jeep Chat told me that "my Jeep was ready to enter production." So this means that the Jeep will be produced, inspected and ready for shipment in one day? Hmmmm .... .

I had the same conversation with a ship date of 4/19. My salesman informed me that 99.9% of the time that is the date they start production! I don't know why they say this? So it looks as if they start to build your Jeep in two day's:)
