8/23 - Order Confirmed (C)
10/5 - VIN Assigned (D)

I think I regressed back to C (I got the 4AK code a few days after my dealer told me I was in D and gave me my VIN... 4AK means "Schedule D to C tracking")

Currently at 63 days and counting...

i am sitting at 92 days lol and jeep has no idea.

I have heard a few things recently from industry insiders that suggest they build the 392, specifically, in batches (sounds like the batches run about a week long). This, combined with the information that the developer of JeepTracker. com has that shows no 392 orders have moved in several months makes me think one of two things... They are waiting on enough orders to fill one of the batch runs over the full timeframe of the run, or they are short a 392-specific part...

Ok, similar boat as you. My tracker is below. I contacted my dealer today and they let me know I'm in I status now. But my dealer said estimated ship date of 10/21. So that didn't happen. I'm hoping it ships by what my tracker says (jeeponorder.com tracker that is).

If any of you have had a ton of time to review this feed from the beginning there is no rhyme or reason to how the build progression goes. I've tried to get some sense into it but everyone is all over the board and it seems only the dealership have good intel. I don't know if a person or system updates the Jeep tracking website but the idea of building them in batches might explain why people tend to float in D or D1 status for a long time.

The tracker is awful......mine shipped on the 14th and didn't show on the tracker until the 24th!!
 
Just placed an order from a high volume dealer, was told they average 20-24 weeks. Since I overspent my budget by $20,000 I could use the extra time.

I've been waiting 20 weeks so far... Others are waiting way less
 
Has anyone that ordered after mid-August seen any movement on their order?
 
I've heard of September orders moving, but the ones I know of were non-XR.
