Order status and Jeep chat

I went to check after seeing your post and mine is there too! Does yours show your name under "sold to" at the bottom?
I haven't got my window sticker yet. It's still in the scheduling status.
I'm hoping my salesman will surprise me in a few weeks!

Congrats!

I don't how you guys do it, but the wait is killing me! LOL
It's only been 4 weeks!
I went and looked at some used ones on a few lots in the area to show my wife.
Sheesh, they want more than what I'm paying for a brand new one. It's crazy.
This is how I rationalized putting in an order for a 22 even though I would go for a 23 if they still put them out (seems like they will).

I'm not trying to make money on any 22 I get, but I don't expect to lose anything much at all on it if I turn it around in a year.

I'm hoping to keep mine until I can't climb in it anymore.
I saw a very short guy get out of a JK with a 6 inch lift at a gas station two years ago.. He looked to be around 85 years old. It was cool as hell to see that.

Nope. :cautious: Sadly "Deliver To" and "Sold To" are still blank.... but baby steps! Officially crested 7 months on this, so I'll take it!

Yup. Same here. I'm right there with ya. I'm coming up on 6 months and it's the longest I've ever had to wait for a sold order (by a lot). Now that it's nekkid season, I'm chompin at the bit to hear that 6.4 when I'm running around in my Rubi.

7 months? Yea, that's a long wait.

6 months here! It supposedly is heading to the dealer by 5/14? Horrible wait!!!

Got my update from my Dealer. Jeep is built and now in KZLD status. I was told could be a delay do to truck driver shortage. Ok just like everybody else it seems.

My question is when will crypto sticker show a sticker is available?
It still only shows "build sheet found".

That update was from April 20th.

Anyone have any input?

order placed Nov-2021
D1 status March30
F status April 19
JB status April 27
KZLD status May 4

Sting Gray XR
tow pack
Black grill
trail cam
trail rail cargo mount
I got the same response from my dealer.
It’s been “in transport” for 4+ wks now.

“It could arrive anytime...” 🙄🙄

he got the most important one, a V8! pretty Much everything needed is stock, but has tow, hinge reinforcement for the 35s going on today. Headliner And mats.

On a 392 the XR is a not worth the wait or the money :D . But I digress.
Where were you at in October??!!!🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

@KungFu392 too unique to a fault 🤪.

I brought up the 99mph because if you own an XR, which is 112mph limited, there is only 1 tire rated for that speed. A 315/70/17 KO2. I hate KO2s. they are low quality and fall apart. So I didn’t want to be stuck with them… and that is the only 35/12.5 spec’d for an 8” rim. The width of the XR rim.

But I am not trashing anything or anybody. Just so much misinformation out there. I am trying to help people understand what they are getting into with some truths… and some opinion :D.

if you are keeping your XR stock, there is a couple of items that you should address by default. Front LCAs, wheel well liners and TPMS adjustment. Probably steering stabilizer too.
🥺😞 I loved my KO2s on my Raptors...

I'm not so patiently waiting anymore. Ordered 11/16/21 went D1 finally April 1St. Showed original ship date April 20th, Built on April 22nd and showed waiting for final inspection. Then got sent to JB and has been in JB status ever since. hopefully shipping in the next week or so.

Your not alone they told me today it’s still in JB might have to go through another final inspection but it should be very close to ship. So here we are waiting patiently.

Who on earth is driving this thing 112mph? I have cars that love that speed. Pretty sure when I pick up the XR (tomorrow!), it will not be one of them …

Same here. I’m not saying I’ll never do a spirited run up to triple digits on the interstate now and then, but I think it will be rare. It’s the 0-60ish runs that will be the most fun. If I wanna go deep in the 100s, it will be in something else (and on a track or somewhere in Mexico) ;)

i took My stock 17 jku willys on I-95 @ 95mph and it wasnt anything i wanted to change lanes in. put 33s on and a level and it wouldnt even go to 95. the older drag race video vs the benz rover & bmw had the 392 on 33s and it was much closer than the newer video with the XR. Im thinking the 33s are faster given torque and HP are equal.

Quicker and faster are 2 different things, don’t forget. Same vehicle just comparing 33’s to 35’s the 33’s will be quicker to max speed (top of rpm and top of gears) The 35’s will have a faster top speed. Again, ONLY if all other factors are equal. The XR is geared lower to get you there quicker. The gearing also drops the top speed, but the taller diameter gives it back, so it’s nearly a wash.

because the governor is raised on the XR, it’s quicker on the 0-60 because you can run full open hitting 60 (or quarter mile) before the limiter - not the other was around like the non-XR
