Long LCA install

Ok, here we go, I went to install the new oem Performance Mopar LCA's yesterday and ended up breaking the socket with an impact wrench on the first nut. So I am going to go out today in search of a impact socket. Probably should have known better in the first place. Oh well, it gives me an excuse to purchase a new "Large size" impact set.

For those curious, the factory Caster on the standard 2025 392 FE is 4.5 and exactly the same on both sides. I measured this with both a digital and analog gauge. This was done on level concrete with both the front and rear axles and tires on the ground.

I truly doubt the new arm will provide anywhere near 6 after they are installed. We shall see, update to follow...

Amazon Basics 46-Piece 3/8-Inch Drive Shallow & Deep Socket Set, 72-Teeth Reversible Ratchet, SAE/Metric Size, With Carrying Case, 33.2 x 24.6 x 7.6 centimeters(Previously Denali brand)

worked perfect for me with a Milwaukee M12 3/8

I personally found it to be a a major improvement in handling, steering feels more precise and as mentioned before tracks on highways much better with no inputs required. City driving also is much easier.

Am a bit sceptic about the 2-3” shocks 8100 dsa figment on a stock height jeep. And if by adding the Clayton springs are a better protection to avoid bottoming out the shocks.
Remember our trucks have a 2inch lift from the factory! Bilstein markets that 2-3 inch shock specially for our 392 if stock! I spent so much time trying to investigate exactly what your concern is only to finally reach out for them and that’s exactly what I was told!! as a matter of fact when they first hit the market, I remember clearly seeing them advertising the part number for our 392 and claiming perfect for stock and up to an additional 1 inch or so additional lift and the gentleman that I spoke to actually mentioned the Clayton sports springs combined with there shock was absolutely
The hot setup which is what made me look to Clayton, and down another rabbit hole!!!

Appreciate your support and enthusiasm. You have been of great help.
I was also chatting with Northridge 4x4 and they confirmed the same.

It’s insane what that Clayton spring did for me!
The half inch or so of uptravel i wound up with between the spring and shorter jounce bumper
Enabled me to soften up my shock settings quite a bit! Many years ago, I suffered a very bad back injury, which makes it very, very hard to get comfortable and not damage my already tender, lower back a recent trip to Newport Rhode Island proved to be a bad weekend and by the time I got close to the hotel, I was an extreme pain now the roads in Newport are almost like war torn Beirut! Before we went back into town, I cranked both settings on those bilsteins way down just to see how it would ride. I wasn’t even halfway out of the parking lot when my wife said oh my God I feel it already. I was shocked that my already fantastic riding Jeep now felt like an Escalade!!! You really need to feel it and spend time with it to see how actually incredible that combo works. I was able to enjoy the entire rest of the weekend driving all over the place without my back hurting. yet, the trip going up which was way smoother then then actually getting into town was painful as can be! Nothing tests, a great suspension more than having a busted up back! Also I find it almost impossible to bottom that front out even doing some crazy speed bumps!

Great story 🙏 I'm sold 😋
And trust me, I can relate to the Beirut comparison — except here I get the potholes AND the speed bumps 🤣
Glad your back finally got a weekend off. That's the best shock review anyone could write.
