Long LCA install

So I have been researching and trying to get a clear answer about whether upgrading the shocks form factory to Bilstein 8100 dsa 2-3 inch shocks at a later stage without adding a lift kit that is after installing the Clayton performance springs and Metalclaok durosprings bump stops.
Would my setup work with these shocks or any other shock rated for 2-3 inch
It would be a duplicate to my setup! And I ran just the bilsteins with stock springs for awhile along with the whiteline sway bar and it was night and day! Once I went to the Clayton’s I was shocked how it transformed the entire package! I wasn’t looking to lift it just get it level as it seemed the rear was lower and to soft! It was crazy how perfect it all came out!

So even stock level height with springs sag bilestein did work!!??
I do believe Clayton springs would restore the height and as per their website these springs lift equivalent to 2 inch. So would be more prudent to install the shocks with them.
Thank you for confirming anyway

Did you ever flex it out with the Bilsteins ? They are 2” longer than stock. The length is the only advantage Fox Elite has over Bilstein with OEM springs. Fox is much closer to factory shock lengths.

I’ve always stayed away from fox setups because it’s all I had used years ago with our raptors and some of our builds and while they worked and rode decent for the life of me i never had a set that made it more then a year and on our raptors way less then that and fox never made good on anything! The gladiator mojave with its fox set up is really nice and actually comes with hydraulic bump stops i was super impressed until my bud started having leaking issues and it took months for jeep to get parts so no more fox for me!!
I always liked king but it was way more then I needed and trying to soften them up where we could be happy just wasn’t happening! There isn’t any current setup available that can do and last like bilstein!! If I had the time I would have loved to try a set of ohlins on our jeeps there one excellent shock and company I just didn’t like there pain in the ass adjustment process. We have an RHO that has a bilstein setup and has been beaten to death for 70,000 miles not a peep out of that suspension, But to me it drives a bit to hard!

All great points. For me a Bilstein with proper lengths would be perfect. Especially if they ever sale an 8112+ with the internal bump stop.

Bilsteins for the 2-3” lift are 1.5” longer in the rear and 3” longer in the front fully extended compared to stock.

I’m so sorry, I missed your question, but no I’ve never flexed it out but several people that I’ve spoken with have, with my setup and run there jeeps silly with no issues! I would expect them to be longer then stock I’m past sure they will meet your expectations

I've done this and have about 7000 miles on my 2023. This is the project that I bought the Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1/2 in. Impact Wrench.
No jack.
Fought one side with a big ass breaker bar and ran to home Depot for the impact. It took me longer to that HD run than it did to swap these out with this impact.
