Ted392 Mods

Received my Clayton coils this week, for those of you who have them, mine say 2.5” JL/JK for front and 1.5” JL for rear, nothing specific to 392. Can you confirm yours were the same?
I would call Clayton and have them confirm you have the right springs for your 392.

Yes, that’s what mine were as well.

I don't recall what the boxes stated, I ordered the 392 coils. I do know only the rears springs are stamped Left and Right.
I got lucky with the rear I didn’t realize there were left and right didn’t even pay attention 😂 and somehow managed to get them correct.

Fun and dusty. Love the ride and the engine! So much for the exterior cleaning!

Engineering sand box and hill climb area for LMTV's, etc. Lots of sand!

The Fox ATS steering stabilizer can be mounted in the oem position. Or, it can be mounted on the axle side track bar bolt and then clamped to the tie rod. This position raises it up high and less prone for rock strikes.
Did you ever end up doing this? looking into brackets/clamps

Partially. I installed the new track bar bolt but the shaft is almost the same as the hole in the ss. So I quite installing it. I have not had time to investigate it yet. Figured I'd do it over the 4th of July.

When I called the supplier, they shrugged me off. So if I can't get it to work, I'll buy someone else's product and post it.

Frustrating...

I ordered the Synergy kit today. I cant remember are you using Fox ATS?

Yes Fox ATS
Was it also Synergy? I read a post today about lightly sanding the bolt with sandpaper and the Fox ATS slipped right on but that was the only case I found where anyone had trouble

I think so. I'll look tonight and report back. Thanks for the info, it was what I was gonna do to see if it fits.

I recently installed the Clayton 392 performance springs and mine had the same stamp. Installed and leveled the Jeep out. Rides great on road
