I worked for the Union Pacific right out of grad school in the early 1980s. I remember at the time thinking that railroads were growing obsolete. Boy, was I wrong. Never bet against Warren Buffett.

Well, my other toy projects kept me away from my 392. However, my CO trip is fast approaching, so pm has started. Oil/filter, 5 tire rotation, grease the front steering gear, recount starlink etc. Let the fun begin.

I "stretched" it over 7 days. I stopped at the Heartland Museum of Military Vehicles (I've restored many hmv's) and I stopped a Shelby American Collection (awesome collection, go if you haven't been) and visited Black Canyon. Plus 3 very long trail days and then humped it home.
Parked 392's are not fun, drive'em.
