Man I’m very interested! You have to show where you mounted the pull lever latch inside.

I used an exiting bolt location under kick panel. The picture makes it look in they way but for me it is not. I might also shorten the bracket to tuck it in further. And I might trim the handle down. Does not require that big of a crank arm.

Added another .5" spacer to rear springs. Final stance is .5" high in rear, slight rake, with no load in 392. I'll leave these in for now until summer and I will replace the oem springs.

Added the filler plates behind fog lights. Ceramic coated them first. Added spacers to clear the light connector..

Then installed the Mopar grab handle on front passenger side. With an SOT, you gave to remove front bolts and loosen others to raise the top up enough to fit handle. I may install a drivers side since the come in pairs.

The front bracket is pinched between the the roll bar and the fiberglass of the SOT. So I can see where they say it might not work. For me, it went in nicely and tightened down nicely. The fiberglass gives enough to fit the bracket.

Forgot to post pictures of hood latch mechanism inside. I cut about 1.5" off handle and shorten the bracket. Now it is tucked up under the kick panel.

The obd2 port has a my 3d printed jeep grill cover on it!

I also installed the drivers side grab handle. Went in easily. You have to be careful loosing the roof bolt bc they have locktite on them.

So today was small mod day.

I pre-tensioned the Warn winch line.
I then finished drilling and tapping the 2 rear bolt holes into frame for the LOD Destroyers. They provided 1/2" bolts. To slow rust down, I put antisieze on the threads.
Then I installed the Metalcloak rear swaybar drop spacer. With the 2.5 Fox shocks, the bar comes very close to the shocks and the spacers gained some room between them.
I thought I'd put these spacers before buying a Hellwig type swaybar.
I'll test drive tomorrow to see how/if it changes the ride.

Yes, it moves the sway bar away just enough to not interfere with the rear shocks. Since I have factory links, it also prevents inversion on the sway bar. Easy mod, maybe 30 mins.

I did some light wheeling in Grayling today. My experience is that the oem springs are soft. The 392 wobbled/swayed and I hit my bump stops 2 times and I didn't think I should have. Plus I have 1" coil spacers. So I'll be replacing the coils with Clayton...bc of this darn forum! Lol


That's a pretty decent hill and mostly sand and some loam. The 392 is a beast.

Yes, I tried 4H part time. No on 4L. Also I didn't air down, so could not get some slopes. Went on some 2 tracks and avoided some military LMTV's that cruise this area.
