i like it. Thanks. It super simple to operate. I have a tazer for my TRX and not a huge fan of it. So i purchased a 2nd code for it. The ECRI does what I want and a good human interface.Ted how are you liking the ECRI?
How is the sound now? Better?Installed the rollbar 6 5" speakers and tweeters. Base is not an issue for my ears, it's the higher tones that are gone. Easy and fun mod that's cheaper that 60's! Lol

Also used my ECRI for the first time. Change low air settings, fogs on with high beam, and hopefully hood alarm. Easy peasy.
Have not had a chance to drive it due to health stuff. Hopefully this week I'm able to drive and I'll report back. How is the sound now? Better?

But without 60s? Or do you have stock axles?Every time I see your Jeep, I think it's mine.

While waiting in some parts for the fenders, I mounted up the BD fog lights. So simple!

Also removed the sub woofer panel to prep for the Teleraflex spare tire mount and hinge.

So I was able to drive a bit today and tested the new speakers (dash, rollbar tweeter and woofers). I'm no audiophile, but I really like this mod over factory speakers. I can hear tweeters now as well as the dash speakers. I will add the tweeter mounts (included with them) to point them forward to my ears.
I'm not going to change the knee speakers.
I agree with not replacing knee speakers, mainly due to limited size of factory enclosure. Factory ported the enclosure to help with lower frequencies. Many have found after replacing factory size knee speakers with larger 6.5" , results were not much of an improvement in lower frequencies. After I upgraded my front dash speakers, to gain missing upper frequencies, that a slight fade towards front, one notch forward on Uconnect fader control, helped with imaging and overall sound. Because when in drivers seat, your ears are so close to roll-bar speakers.
Will do. Can't wait. But I'm sure I'll need new ball joints, tie rod and drag link from the wear. Tempted to do that work now. Please report back after driving with new 38" tires. Very curious about difference in overall handling and acceleration performance difference?
