Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition Discussion

Love TFL, and they at least partially answered my previous question…

Sounds like the 20A does in fact have different shocks and springs than a non-20A 392 XR. Which begs the next question - are there any other suspension changes that go along with the different springs on the 20A and will the “new” springs and shocks carry forward on the ‘24 392?

That TFL video really makes me wish I had a 4XE for coyote hunting, it would be so nice to drive into my hunting blind and hardly make a sound. Not at all possible with the 392 with AWE, 🤣

Just got off the phone with the sales guy. My 20a is built and "at the body vendor" whatever that means... he did not have a clear answer. Next step is KZ - vehicle built... then KZM- shipped.

Tick-Tock.... tempus fugit

Body vendor is the Mopar shop for certain accessories/options. Once the Jeep goes down the main assembly, depending on your options it then goes over to the Mopar shop outside the main assembly building. They do things like factory add-on accessories and spray liners in truck beds, etc. It’s probably going there for the rock rails, compressor, and all the 20A decals. Those types of things aren’t done on the main line.

Mine as well - If I remember correctly we both have Sting and the One Touch Top - Can’t imagine that’s holding our orders up - Maybe they don’t have the paint🤔

I also have a 392 20A in Sting-Gray that is stuck in D1.

Sounds like they don’t have the paint required to begin building our units🫤
(And it’s a discontinued color for 2024)

Just spoke to my dealer - Still in D1
“Sting” Looks like they don’t have the paint to start production on these vehicles.
Anyone with Sting in Production?
This would be helpful information for those of us that ordered Sting and have been sitting in D1 since mid February 2023🫤

Did the dealer say they didn't have the paint? Is it something they are just guessing on or did they hear from a rep or something?

Dealer just stated it’s not moving from D1…
Does anyone that chose “Sting” have a 20A in production? This would be helpful information✌️

Has anyone figured out if the 20A has more of a lift compared to a regular XR? On my build sheet and the window sticker posted above, it says 20th anniversary suspension.
Also my sting grey has been in production for like 14 or 15 days now
