Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition Discussion

Haven't heard anything from my dealership regarding a color change and I receive weekly emails from them with updates (or lack there of). I still want the 20A, so if I need to change color, then I'm going to black as it will plays nice with the red and black interior.
I speak with my dealer/friend every day…
NO movement and still in D1 (45 Days Now).
No discussions about the paint color and Jeep has not offered any updates or optional changes on my 20A - BTW, I also plan on keeping mine if it ever shows up - Could be the SOT as well - Could be anything at this point. Riding it out everyday awaiting a new milestone ✌️

If I had to switch, I'd probably change over to Earl. I think it looks pretty good with red. I'd have to figure out how to get my half doors in sting matched to Earl though.

I don't think that's gonna happen though. They'll probably be pushing through the Stings all the same time for the last run of the color (for at least now).

Looks like the Anniversary models are being delivered.

After seeing the photos, not so sure Sting-Gray and SOT is what is causing our delay.

It is nice however to finally see a 20A in Sting-Gray!

So what do you think is delaying our particular vehicles? Dealer has no insight on any of this😐

Hard to say... Our vehicles will probably just show up at the dealership with no updates or insight! The good news is that Sting is being produced with SOT.

The more I read about the 2024, the more I want my 2023, 20A. Not a fan of the antena mounted on the windshield, new dash, red interior, new rectangular vents, and power seats. Also leaning that the 2024 392 won't be able to tow 5k was disappointing. The only upgrade I liked was the floating axcels, but for my use, won't make a difference!

Agreed 100% - I am old school and do not like the 2024 refresh - Like I have said before, I already have a 2022 GC WL74 2 Row SR 5.7L Hemi with all the bells and whistles and I don’t believe all of this tech belongs in the 392 - Way too glitchy and unproven for sure. At least with the GC they did a proper redesign and the new screen and tech flow nicely throughout the interior. I still prefer the analogue as well in the 392 20A - Looking forward to my 20A and truly hope they build these with the same quality control as the 2021 and 2022✌️

Just out of curiosity, what number do you have on the 9th possition of your VIN? I see the one on this delivery is 5, and the one on my VIN is 1. I am also just a couple of digits before this one on the VIN #.

What delivery are you referring to?

The additional lift really doesn’t seem obvious, but 1/2” isn’t much of course. Wonder if the thought behind this was to actually allow these to articulate with 37’s (on factory wheels) without rubbing?

I’d love to see one side-by-side with a non-20A 392. Would also like to know the specifics of how the lift is obtained - different springs, spacers, etc.

I’m still trying to decide whether or not to give up my ‘21 XR for the 20A I have on order…

My VON is several hundred higher than this window sticker 🫤
I also had correspondence with Jeep late yesterday and they confirmed that my vehicle is not in production yet and they have a specialist looking into why and what I can expect since they were all supposed to be shipped/delivered in May according to the JEEP personnel I was speaking to… Will keep you posted✌️

Sweet - I heard back from my Jeep Specialist today and they stated that mine is scheduled to go into production the Week of May 8th.
No formal update yet - We Shall See!
Looks like they are making an effort to get the remaining 20A’s out soon. ✌️

What number did you call to speak with a Jeep specialist?

This is where I started yesterday: Customer Care Team at (877) 426-5337 - It was a long process but they finally engaged, found my vehicle, did not care for the notes they were looking at and stated they would have a specialist research further and get back to me - Jeff at Stellantis / Jeep followed up earlier today via email with a detailed explanation on my vehicle. We will see what it all means - Hopefully Soon✌️

Thanks for the thorough feedback. I will give them a call tomorrow.

Called today and my jeep has already been built & shipped and is now in Colorado. Jeep customer service indicated that they are not updating their tracker. Getting the 20A next week!

Interesting as that’s not what they told me earlier this week and they clearly told me my vehicle was not built and is scheduled for production the Week of 5/8…Jeff at Jeep / Stellantis is actually following my vehicle with daily updates via email.
Did/Does your dealer know it’s on the way?
