Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition Discussion

That sucks!
My dealer sold it at MSRP.... I still have a sneaking suspicion they are trying to kick me out of my deal so they can take delivery and add a huge ADM to it and resell it.

I'm hoping Jeep can shed some light on the situation.

Buddy just ordered one Monday, little dealership in Florida. he was there 2nd and last one. they told him
2 weeks before they know if it was accepted. and 10 months before delivery. $104000.00 dual door loaded.
he is hoping.
That is definitely believable. Only thing I struggle with is the 10 months. Wouldn't that be a MY24? How would that be 20th anniversary Rubicon?

My guess! I was first in line at Dave Smith, was not going to pay a $10K markup for a Jeep

Heard back from the dealer... It seems despite having a Printed Order Confirmation, Jeep is not going to honor the deal and I will not be getting a 20a?

Is that right @JeepCares ? What's the address for legal service?

Edit: My order is timestamped 1:06 eastern
Not cool. Mine is still not showing up in the system either, but so far, I don't think anyone here has reported that their VON/VIN is showing up in the tracker, so fingers crossed. I also received a POC from the dealer and the numbers on it were all correct, so I'm hopeful that mine actually got in. But to be completely honest, if it didn't, it's not the end of the world because I have a nearly identical Jeep sitting in my driveway already. It would just be cool to have the 20A Edition and the half doors - which I kind of regret not getting with my 2022.

does anyone know if you can track your shipment of your Jeep.
trying to figure out a flight, hate to book day before.
I was wondering the same. My E.T. for delivery is 2/20.
That's going to be a real crap shoot. I thought we were tracking daily and mine was sitting in a rail yard. Next thing we know its at the dealer.
What portal/tool were you using to track shipping.

At the end of the day, I guess it really doesn't matter since I'm prepared to make last minute travel arrangements when I receive the call/email.

better to say 10 months and have it come in 6 then say 6 and have it come in 10...
i was told 4 months for ours, almost 8

I think there are better tracking tools for customers now. In January 21 the best method was the dealer and he checked every day once it got to the rail yard. I did use crypto stickers and days after I had it in my garage it was still showing in transit.

I forgot about crypto stickers. I'll reach out to my dealer if it goes past my 2/20 ET delivery date.

I think there are going to be a lot of disappointed/upset people who believe they ordered a 20a or 20aev, and don't get one. There seems to be a lot of miscommunication from peoples posts on the interwebs.

Yeah, I'm getting the official shut up and wait from Stellantis.

I see my 20a AEV order in the Jeep Vehicle Order Tracking System. I ordered mine last friday at MSRP and I had a few options and prices not showing correctly. I received the VON on Friday. I contacted the dealer on Monday and they were able to correct the order with the correct options and prices. The order showed up in the system Monday evening. The VIN showed up on Wednesday morning. My dealer is still waiting to understand the AEV Upfit part. Hoping to select the options on the AEV Upfit portion soon. Even with a VON and a VIN I am still not 100% sure this deal is going through. There is still a part of me that doesn't like the red seats and red seat belts and red dash. I sometimes think I should just send in my current 2023 Jeep 392 with 1200 miles on it to AEV and do the JL370 Build with all the bells and whistles. Probably cheaper in the long run.

I would love to have the Anniversary Edition, as I like the grill and the compressor especially, but I'm not a fan of the red stuff.

I keep thinking I could put a compressor in my 23 Earl 392 and be happy.

I also want half doors and I'd just about order a different color so I could get them, but I love my Earl.

Did anybody get an AE below MSRP?

Honestly, if your real desire is the Level II AEV setup, and you don't like really anything else about the 20AE, I'm not sure why you wouldn't just have AEV build your current Jeep.

Do you know the timestamp of your POC?

I submitted my order Monday morning and got my VIN and email from Jeep Wave on Tuesday. Have a POC and agreement for MSRP. I really wanted Punk'n Orange, but couldn't do that with the red interior...so I went with Black. Anyone know if there is a different interior color option besides red?

What's cool is I ordered the half doors so hopefully I can use them on both my 392 AE and my Gladiator.

Still no info showing up for me. However, I talked with my dealer today, and he said the AEV order portal opened up for him on my order. I’m not going to pretend to understand this order process, but that seems like a somewhat positive sign, but who knows.
