I ordered Xtreme Recon, one touch skyview roof, front camera, tow package, doors off mirror kit, gorilla glass, windshield tie down - I think thats it.

8/12 order and I went to D1 at the end of October with an end of November build date.
Went to E on 11/29/2022. Seeing the last few posts of massive "I" holds, we'll see if the estimated ship date of 12/27 is true. Onto the next phase at least.

Jeep has been sitting in "KZ" for 8 days now. They moved the Jeep from Ohio to their Illinois assembly plant. I think I'd be good if I knew it was on the rail. Especially with a possible strike looming. I'll be surprised if it see the Jeep this year. I have not searched the subject, but I'm sure there were folks that sat at least a month in KZ status. It is what it is. I have my JLURD that I love. I just wanted the 392 here before the end of the year for tax purposes. Crossing fingers.
Ok. Just received an update. After 13 days sitting at the rail yard in Illinois, it’s finally on a train. Hasn’t made it far, but it passed through Chicago. ETA 12/12-/12/26. Crossing fingers again.

well its been 128 days since the order went in, not sure if that is a lot or not that bad.
but i will say the lack of communication from the dealer is a bit irritating. i called my salesman
and he stated he could not talk he had a customer, ok but what am i. thought i was a customer.
i have spent almost 300k with him over the last 3 years. ok i am done being a dick, sorry but holly shit
tell me the motors are on back order, lie to me. see there i go again.

The problem is that you are talking to a salesperson instead of the inventory manager.

Sales people, generally, do not know squat... The inventory manager or the GM will be able to provide you more detailed information.

I agree. The person who orders the cars for your dealership will have much more information. This should be your only contact at the dealership for progress on your build.

FYI, got window sticker yesterday. Price is $3,000 more or so after we ordered in June. So, will be saving about $11,345 off sticker price.

Damn. Glad I'm in with a dealer that gives price protection up front. I wonder where that extra 3k came from?

Price has gone up. Go to the Jeep build website. MSRP up, a few options got more expensive too. As well delivery is more now too.

Color option+100, Camera $100, SOT:$150, MSRP +$2500, Destination +$200. On my specific build.

So I put in an order June 7th. I ended up wanting to change color but was told it was too late. So I put in a new order. That 2nd order went in August 10th. I thought I'd never hear of the June 7th order again and assumed it could have even gone through the process already and was sold off their lot.

My August 10th order (which I never got any Jeep brand emails about) went into E on October 15th and has been stuck there since. I just got a Jeep brands email yesterday that my June 7th order went to D1.

So I guess I sorta have two orders in the works right now. It will be interesting to see which one of these two 'wins the race'.

Went to KZ status yesterday (12/03/2022). Estimated delivery still 12/27/2022.

Went into production today!

You're in E since July? Are you in JB (body vendor hold)? Or actually in E?
Yeah you're right JB. Dealership built manager checked it as well. It shows E since July, then JB since September, still no movements at all. Weird stuff going on for sure. I hope it's on fire, then I can order again and hope for the 20th Anniv lol.

Meh. The 20A (IF they make a 20A 392) will just be a sticker package.

I'll just put a sticker on mine then when it arrives. Or keep searching for any available online and there are so many right now. We'll see if all the options I'm looking for are available.

Gone are the days where Jeep actually does anything interesting to differentiate a special edition model, besides stickers. I also exclude tire size from "anything interesting" because if they decided to, say, put 37s on the Rubicon from the factory with no further changes, the only advantage that would provide is during the warranty period. It wouldn't make an unmolested 20A Jeep anymore valuable 20 years from now. Plus, if they decide to put that grille from the 20A concept photos on the actual 20A (if they make one)... Hard pass.

Honestly, I like everything factory. Best Wrangler from factory would be the 392XR. At least if i ever decided to get rid of it, the resale value is a bit better. Maybe i'll keep it, maybe not. If they make the 20th i will definitely grab one, i'm sure the resale value
is even higher. This will be my 5th Jeep, i'm not sure i have the energy and motivation to go to Moab 4x a year anymore and modify again. Don't really care for everything except that it is a wrangler with the V8 392 with 35s from the factory. Now, where is my damn Jeep I ordered since June? Lmao
