No more XR Package for order…

Any one knows how many XR were produced

They are still producing XR's, but not taking new order's for XR's. Interesting stuff for sure, but looks like probably less than 2000 XR's all together???? I'd love to know. Will make our vehicles hold their value more for sure. I looked on cryptostickers, but couldn't figure out a way to figure out which one's were xr's without manually going through each one.

I assumed that you meant 392. I saw thread where they said that they produced about 1000 392 XR’s in 2021. It is on here somewhere. Probably a lot more xrs total. I didn’t think about the others. Guess I’ve got a little 392 tunnel vision

I copied this from another forum. Remember that the 2000 XRs were as of 4 mo. ago. There may end up being more XRs than non-XRs. We will have to wait for the final tally.

Probably because at least half of them are still being built lol

So, given the whole supply chain thing, understandably Jeep produced about 10% less Wranglers in 2021.
With 6650 of them being 392's. So for 2021, that was about 3 1/4% for the MY. Since production on 392's started nearly 3 months after MY21 production began in their first year, I'd say you will probably see 20-25% more this year - making the 392 about 5% of all production, which seems to track well with what Membrain is tracking... So 10,000+ per year would probably be pretty consistent.

That being said, I STILL have not seen one in the wild...

I just tried to change my order (placed in January) to HVY as well. I actually told my dealership that the regional rep might be able to change it as that’s how you got yours done. Thanks for the tip! Not sure if it will work. If not then Sarge XR it is….

And here I am looking to get OUT of my HVY and change it to Sting. I'd personally still take Sarge in a second over what I've seen so for in the HVY pics. I ordered later than you though, so no XR. I'm playing the waiting game to see if they're able to change as well. Too bad though, because you're close to me in Maryland...and if we were both unsuccessful in our efforts to change things we could just buy each other's orders- haha. But again, too many variables (non-XR, other options, etc.)

Lol… understood… I wasn’t too sure about the yellow myself after the pics to be honest… I was trying to wait for a purple or Gobi… but I didn’t want to lose my build and the XR package so I had to pick… It’s my hope that it’s one of those colors that looks better in person. Good luck with your potential change!

Posted pics in “new color announcement” thread. I was getting concerned seeing the pics hitting the internet, but after seeing it, I’m happy with my decision. The more I stared at it, the more and more I liked it. Highlighter Yellow minus the Neon Glow comes to mind, with just that hint of lime.

Sweet. That gives me some optimism. Just put in an order for a non XR. No problems turning it around in a few months after I get it and exchanging it for a ‘23 XR.
