@WhiteBronze392 Build

The MTX275 is so nice and easy to install, and mounting the main unit is not hard at all due to its smaller size.

Looks good @WhiteBronze392! I mounted mine on the driver's side, up under the knee bolster. There is a nice little platform/module there that I attached the mounting bracket using 3M VHB tape. For the mic cable, I cut in an RJ45 connector on the passenger side of the center console, near the front mounting bolt. I'm using a CMM accessory bracket and 67D arm with a Magnetic Mic attachment to hold the handset.

If you want pictures, I can share. Just tossing out some other ideas for those who haven't tackled the install yet.
Absolutely please share pics doubt I will move the head unit but still deciding on the mic location.

Edit I have this PENGLIN 2Pack RJ45 Shielded Panel Mount Coupler, Ethernet LAN Pass Through Connector, CAT6A Female to Female Bulkhead Extension Interface Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WM84YRF?tag=jeep392-20 that I saw on @7.62x392 post if I recall just trying to determine if and if so where I want to put it. I installed the extension cable that came with the unit today and zip tied it over in the corner under the glove box

Here you go! I have it set to use both the speaker on the handset and the speaker on the base unit. I tested it with the weatherband and it’s plenty loud enough for my needs.

Haven’t posted in a while as I havnt had much time to work on the Jeep and it’s been hot as hades here. I still need to install the synergy stabilizer relocate kit as well as the MORE skid.

I am gonna call this the weekend of incompleteness lol. I finally received my AAL inner fenders after months of waiting and decided to tackle them last night. I started with the rear and after I got them installed I found out they only shipped enough twist fasteners for the rear. I am waiting on them to ship more to complete the front.
I have a friend interested in my 37 trail grapplers so I pulled the trigger on the 38 ridge grapplers. I went today to my appointment and they had only ordered 4 after I had specifically said 5 😡 they installed the 4 and I will drop the spare off next week to have it swapped.

Impressions on the rear AAL liners is good. Instructions were crap but other than that they are definitely quality and fit well. A little tedious to get lined up for the quick releases but satisfied for sure.

As for the 37 TG vs 38 RG I did not notice any decrease in performance at all. The TG are 7-8 pounds heavier per tire so maybe that offsets the added size. Also the RG are C and the TG are D. To me with the fender chop and height the size is perfectly proportional. After the chop the 37’ looked small. The RG are definitely quieter and smoother on the road than the TG. I am happy I made the swap just trying to decide which rings to use while I save up for some Innov8 true bead locks.

Finally got around to installing the Synergy stabilizer relocation kit today.
Install was straight forward with no issues. I measured the amount of exposed shaft on each end in stock location then mounted the bracket on the drag link to match and worked perfectly.

Nice work! Nice 392!

37's are in my future, but maybe 38's? (your fault) Does one have to chop fenders to fit 38's. I have the clayton springs and 1" pucks,,,for now. I would not like to chop my fenders. I would change out factory liners though.

🤣 thank you. You would get the benefit of the chop by replacing the liners. I have seen many that replace liners and leave the outer trim lights etc. for a more stock appearance.

Edit: I figured if I needed more height I would do the same as you and add pucks

I have the same dilemma.
I ordered the Artec kit (its on sale) to give it a try without doing anything not reversible. I have looked around at these for a while and the Artec was my favorite. I plan to run the plate lights to the existing plug behind the bumper as to not splice into anything.

Yep they do @7.62x392 has them installed
@Ted392 yes they do fit, the 12.5” wide RGs are essentially the same width as stock, just a touch wider. The 13.5” wide RGs are probably pushing it for the stock XR wheels but I’ve seen other people do it without a problem.

@7.62x392 Thank you the input. I guess that'll be next upgrade when my stock tires burn off.

@WhiteBronze392 I hate this forum! Lol makes my wallet thin'er. Seriously, thanks!
Hurry and hit 2wd mode on the Tazer and burn them off!! @7.62x392 had a lot to do with me removing 1000 mile TG's :ROFLMAO:

I love the 38s. I feel as if it’s the perfect tire size for my rig. My buddy commented this weekend he thought they looked perfectly proportional to the Jeep body and fenders with my lift. Which exactly was my thought prior to getting my lift and tires when I saw pictures of JLs with a 3.5” lift and 38s. I know it’s only an extra inch over the 37s but it really does add a lot to the look and function.
