@WhiteBronze392 Build

The nexts mods on my list are on hold until I make a decision on which skids and onboard air is back in stock so after what was probably one too many Bourbons last night I ordered the AAL fender liners and fender retention hardware kit. Almost emailed to cancel this morning but decided to keep them coming as they were on my list any way only further down lol.

I was planning on just cutting the front OEM liner to keep the top and outer trim OEM look. As I said earlier I am not sure on the full chop but have been browsing pics today and I am starting to like the look of the AAL lights and removing everything else :unsure: the problem is its not easily reversible if I change my mind after cutting the tabs off of the fenders. I don't want it to look like I need 40's to fill the fenders :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I’d start by just replacing the liner and running that for a bit and see if you like before going with the more permanent option of a full chop.

Yea I agree for sure. Since I seem to like to look for ways to blow money I had also thought about getting some OEM unpainted black rubicon fenders to chop and still have the contrast 🤔 but don’t want it to look like a police car 🤣

Well changed my mind 🤣 and went ahead and did the full AAL chop. The fender retention hardware also showed up today but my rivnut tool didn’t. I will change the hardware when the inner fenders show up but have the hard part out of the way (front at anyway) will do the rear tomorrow 👍 No regrets I like the look and definitely won’t have to worry about rubbing. 😳 After I get the liners installed I am going to do some masking and black out the white areas with raptor liner or something

Looks great!

My OCD is glad I did it there is so much plastic and crevices in those fenders that you would never be able to remove dirt or mud without removing the OEM liners. I like simplicity and this definitely achieved that.

Wonder how large of tires you can run with this AAL fender chop, with stock XR suspension?
And clear at full articulation.
Do you gain same amount of additional clearance in rear as front?

Damn, those half doors look awesome!

I just mounted my half door hangers today on the wall. Had to go high, but they’re light doors and this way they’ll be up and out of the way.

Thank you! Yea I just went with one set of hangers as I will not be doorless for the foreseeable future with my little ones. I mounted them as high as I could for both the full doors and half doors with uppers installed to avoid any Big Wheel strikes lol. I also ordered this to store the uppers when removed. It’s for the JK but several had confirmed JL premium uppers fit.

Oh, sweet! I was trying to figure out a way to store the uppers to keep them safe from damage and free of dust. I appreciate the tip on the storage bag!
