🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Did a little flex testing with the new meats, couldn't quite max out the bumpstops in the rear with my ramps (no additional bumpstop extensions), but no rubbing with what I was able to achieve. Ideally, I'd like to maintain stock travel, and perhaps even improve upon it with some aftermarket control arms with flexier joints without additional lift. I'm thinking a fender chop or aftermarket fenders will get me there without rubbing...

Removed the grill. It is 3 layers with multiple pieces once you have it completely apart if that makes sense.

I was wondering the same thing. I have switched grills on my Jeep and it was a bit tedious but the absolute right way rather than tape off. Looks great.

Looks great, I haven't used a high dollar ceramic but did use the Griots Garage 3 in 1 Ceramic wax and have been pretty impressed with it's shine and hydrophobicity.

As promised, here are the pics of my "Green Machine" 392. Poison Spyder Bruizer front and rear bumpers (w/tire carrier). 37 x 13.50 Ridge Grapplers, Black Rhino "Stadium" wheels (17 x 9.5) Warn Evo Winch, Rigid lights, Warn shackles, Rock Slide Engineering powered step sliders.

How far do the RSE's stick out from the frame? Not the motorized portion- just the fixed rail portion closest to the body. 4" or so? Really torn between these and LOD sliders. I'd really like to have more side protection. This won't be my crawler but heck even some grocery cart protection would be helpful.

Here's a couple pics of mine just put them on Saturday and added the skids today but not it these pics. You can see how far they stick out. I'm very happy with them so far.

Never gonna happen. Can you imagine what the price would be with Jeep mark up? Plus all the other issues- battery drain, door removal, turning off for wheeling. Reliability on the rocks- that's huge. Even with the optional skid if I was still wheeling I wouldn't go near them. RSE addresses most of that but its complicated. Jeeples freak out over every non-mechanical upgrade as it is. Looks have to take a back seat on Jeeps. Even if 90% never see dirt they have to stick to the brand.

Been a while since I posted, but I was prepping and eventually ran The Rubicon Trail with the Jeep Jamboree.

While it was awesome, I came out with my rear bumper creasing my driver side quarter panel and exhaust with whistler tips.

So, of course I swapped for Warn Elite bumpers front and rear and a Magnaflow Rock Krawler exhaust.

And when I think about, doing a 3.5” lift along with a set of Adams driveshafts will make it even less worrisome next time….that extra 1” would have been great at the time!

But it was fun and would do it again with the jeep as is.

This is without a doubt a game changer for anyone that enjoys detailing their vehicles, heck... even if you don't. Washing a coated, paint protected vehicle is much more enjoyable, ease of washing/drying is incredible, minimizes water spots. Hard to beat that Hydro Blue!

Well this shows there is no issue with putting these on a 24. I know there were some questions on FB about that. Now I'm not worried ordring these early.
