Already a big fan of Hotheads Hedliner folks and had previously installed the Headliner for SOT and full floor Sound Assassin on The Beast. Today I added their Sunshade for SOT. I went with gray for a little contrast with black interior and Granite Crystal exterior. Super easy install, nice tight fit, and excellent quality product/workmanship. I have Seat Jackers installed and thought I might hit the sunshade (I’m 6’1” tall), but the fit is perfect and I have good clearance. Another great product from the Hotheads Team!

I agree with you on the hotheads 100% I got to drop in on their facility a few weeks back to pick my SOT liner and sunshade up. Great folks to do business with. They also offer military / first responder and local discounts if you qualify.

What are your impressions of the Artec differential covers? I hadn't seen theirs before but they do look well made and designed with the recessed bolts.

Any issues reusing the OEM gaskets?

I have the MOPAR handles, and they are good quality, despite my limited time/use with them.

Not to promote other forums, but this thread shows how they can be easily made to work with the SOT top.

Added 3 USB ports in upper dash to provide Carplay and power under my Bulletpoint Rubigrid Mount. Got this mod from the JL forum. USB A port on the left is CarPlay and power plugged into the head unit media system behind the dash. USB A and C ports on the right are power and tapped from behind the cigarette lighter. Tested it out and everything is working great.

Artec diff covers are beefy for sure…and gaskets were reused without issue. Was thinking about ARBs, but being OCD with branding I opted to match the diff covers with my Artec full belly skids…

Doing the Jeep Jam at Rubicon in July, so hopefully they prove out well!

The Artec sliders weren't a perfect fit…bolt holes and flanges needed to be grinded a bit. And that’s per my installer!

Been a busy weekend clearing boxes out of my garage!

Yesterday I got the Rock Slide Engineering step sliders and armor installed, and the light kit for them too. I have the door delete kit to add, and will probably do that when I install the Kraken/ARB compressor. I’m happy to report there were NO issues at all with the body bolts!

Today, I got the Teraflex Alpha hinge system and Alpha tire carrier installed. I set the tire carrier for my 37 Ridge Grappler / Method 703 backspacing combo, so I figured I might as well swap all the wheels too. The Teraflex parts are beefy and solid.

I’m loving this thing and can’t wait to get the Clayton suspension installed soon. And the winch…. and the lights, and the list goes on!

I’m really anxious for the replacement hood decals and vent decals from Pixel Decals to get here. Not sure when that will actually be though.
