🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

One of the guys in my group also has a dual but he does one tire at a time with 1/4” line. It takes him ~15 min and from 16 to 37 psi Im usually done in around <5min.
Doubt it. I have done several tests with 1/4 line and 3/8 inch line in various lengths on a few different compressors and 1/2/4 tire fill ups. I've never seen an advantage to bigger line or multiple tires at once. Or course I also dont got to 37 PSI, that would be ridiculous.

Well its obvious then that ur testing was flawed and Id guess its the compressor u tested with. If u have a dinky compressor you wont be able to push enough volume to support using a 3/8” line.

Its the reason dual compressors are even a thing… because they pushes more volume. I mean seriously, why do you think shops that rely on compressed air run with larger lines like 1/2”. They certainly dont do it because they like the extra weight. Its because with a higher end compressor they can push more volume to support their air hungry tools.

Dont blv me… maybe try some online research into the matter.

Also filling 4 vs 1+1+1+1 is faster AND easier. Plenty of videos on youtube but you can certainly blv what u wish.

I'm a believer, which is why my Kraken will be installed this weekend. I have watched first hand several others in my group that can air all 4 at a time with the Arb Twin be done while most are still working on their 2nd tire.

So this is scary... today is the second day in a row where Ive had an interaction about a topic and the very next day an extremely relevant video pops up on my youtube feed.

Anyways... here's just one video of many that proves two of the 3 points and the 3rd isnt even debatable anyways.

The Kraken will fill them all at once I believe. It will take about 4 times longer than just 1. Simple math. The multiple tire fill systems cant make it go faster, some people might find it more convenient to hook them all up and let the compressor run but it cant speed the process.
I know, I was just curious if you use yours one at a time or all 4 at once, and how consistently it worked to distribute air x4 at one time.

Baby got a winter bath. Not sure if any radio stations come in, but who listens to radio? Short black antenna looks better anyways.

I've found its easier to fill one at a time. I can get out of the jeep and have the compressor filling a tire in a few seconds instead of having to hook up all tires before even turning the compressor on.

Yeah, that's most likely how I'll do it as well. My concern would be that you could end up with uneven pressure in each tire if you did multiples, but maybe I'm wrong.

I've used the MORRFlate Quad to consistently air up and down all (4) 35" and 37" tires without issues. The key benefits (for me) to using a quad system are 1) that you can monitor the PSI of all 4 tires from the manifold and 2) the ability to equalize the pressure on all 4 tires. The only con that I've experienced is that you're dealing with ~4x the number of hoses (which can be cumbersome) vs. a single hose which is simpler to manage.

Same here, I carry one 6 foot long rubber hose and I use a viair tire inflator with gauge. I have air chucks on each side of the jeep and to be honest I don’t mind if it takes me a while to fill my tires. After a long ride it’s a welcome break to get out and stretch my legs and enjoy the scenery.

Good kit but in my opinion that setup was a little clunky for my liking which is why I chose the kraken.

I use the dashboard to monitor my psi. I sit in the cab and hit the off switch once 2 of the 4 tires hit my number then wait about 30 seconds for them to equalize then causally walk around to gather up the lines and they basically roll themselves up.

I do however use the morrflate stem caps to also cut the fiddle time.

I like your style. Airing up and equalizing the tires while chillaxing in the cab.

How do you like the Kraken? I'm trying to decide how to go on my OBA setup? I'd love to go with Powertank, but its a pain to deal with refilling. I like the setup of the Kraken, but I'm also leaning towards the ARB portable case w/ the 1 gal tank. I can't really decide between the two.

TrailRecon has a recent YouTube video on his thoughts using the ARB case for the past few years. You may find his thoughts helpful. I like the clean setup of the duals under a front seat.

Installed Bulletpoint Grab Handle Mount point and tablet holder. Now I need to decide if I like the tablet Low or High. Opinions?

High. It would keep my eyes up further for just incase. Looks good.

Will the weight of the tablet back the grab handler screw out?

I have the same setup but I use a shorter arm. I'm impressed with how sturdy it is but its not been off-road yet. As far as low or high, the hight is of course easier to see but does that interfere with the passenger air bag operation?

The mount includes a different screw with a weird dual thread, I would not worry about it backing out.

Installed the RAM Tough-Track. I like it, very solid.
