🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

The Mopar mats are great, don't know why you'd go with anything else.

I agree…my 392 is red so the red lettering is a plus for me. The fit is perfect and I’m pretty OCD about that.

Received the oil catch can from American Brother Designs. I haven't updated anything in a while, still waiting for some parts, but in the meantime this will manage my itch. Looks like a truly simple install.

I have to say the packaging is top notch, and its nice to see how well painted it is.

How about a pic when installed please. Thanks

Finally got all the small odds and ends I needed to finish my air compressor.
A look at the bottom, I cut most of the ARB harness away and rewired the original switch and used a switch block instead of a single terminal for each contact. Keeps it cleaner and more secure, not sure why ARB wouldn’t use them to begin with. I used Tessa tape to wrap every inch of wire I could including the 4 gauge cables coming from the battery and also wrapped the power cables with split wire loom for protection under the Jeep.

A look at the control panel facing forward behind the seat. I added auxiliary posts so in the future I can add accessories or just use it as temporary power at anytime without needing to run more wires to the back. It is all supported by 4 gauge cable, good for 150 amps.

view with the seat up. It looks tight to reach the compressor switch but from outside the Jeep it feels very natural to reach in to flip the switch.

i added a removable molle panel to gain access to the fuses and air distribution block

Panel in place and fire extinguisher and med kit hooked down

Under the hood I added in a 500 amp power disconnect solenoid and a power distribution block. Both the winch and air compressor power is controlled by the solenoid, I still have one port for a spare. the solenoid is controlled by aux switch 2 set to ignition on.

I took the Jeep out and hooked the winch to a tree and pulled the Jeep with all four tires locked up for 15-20 seconds and had no loss of power and no terminal heat so I should safe.

4.88s installed (can’t really see that)

Re-installed Rubicon stickers to see how it looked with the hood vinyl and fender vent stuff. Have topographic overlays for the letters on the way to tie it all in.

The line I had on XR wheels ended up being the 2023s with the silly looking trim ring so I passed.

Edit: Also installed a flashlight holder

Looks nice.what dif skid are you using with arb diff cover? How do you like how Rock hard skid fits and covers sway bar mechanism thanks
No diff skid on the front. None that fit Ive seen unless you want to use an integrated cover w/skid such as Metalcloak. RH skid plate fits great. I don’t have a factory swaybar/disconnect anymore (have an anti-rock). I got it cuz it looked naked w/o, is thicker, and more contoured than the OEM front skid plate.

New shoes - Fuel Variant, Bronze, 20x9 et+1.

Also bought some OEM Jeep center caps, painted them to match the wheels and trimmed the rear lock tabs off. Secured with VHB tape and I'm happy with the results, I think it looks clean.

Finally got around to installing Tazer Mini yesterday. Very straight forward install. Added SGW Extension cable, however I had very little issue removing factory plugs from SGW. Trick for me was, make sure tab on plug is pressed firmly with index finger, you can feel it move, and gently pull on wires with small finger from other hand. Still configuring settings.

For those who don't use a Tazer, I found a video that shows how to disable the audible seatbelt ding, if driving with belt unfastened, ie. off-road.
Procedure....With engine OFF, seatbelt connected, foot off brake, position ignition to Run position, then quickly connect/disconnect seatbelt 4 times (leaving connected the last time), return ignition to OFF, disconnect seatbelt. This disables seatbelt audible ding, still shows warning in EVIC. However you don't hear it.

Also discovered the AutoPark feature, that slams transmission into PARK, if moving forward at speeds less than 1.7 mph, with foot on brake and you open or have driver door open.
There are two situations that disengage AutoPark, without use of Tazer...
1. Seatbelt is off.
2. Driver door harness is disconnected.

I really do like the ability to disable seatbelt ding and now those that dont have the Tazer can do it also. Thanks!

WIth your comment on Autopark, should your paragraph #1 read "Seatbelt is on"?. I have found it will not auto park as long as drivers door is closed or seatbelt is buckled.

Right. First time I pulled in garage, I happened to open drive door to look for clearance and the Jeep slammed into Park. "D" was flashing in my gear select, and I had to move shifter into Park, then back to D and close door to finish pulling in. Tazer is supposed to disable this AutoPark feature.
But for those without a Tazer, AutoPark will not engage if seatbelt is off or driver door harness is disconnected (doors removed).

What do you mean when you say "seatbelt is off"? Do you mean the seatbelt warning is turned off or the seatbelt is not buckled?
