🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Clean install. Are those hardtop tie down loops stock or where did you get them? Tie down points are always a premium nice job.

Thanks. The thumb bolts are from Rockworks, available from their website or Amazon. They had them on sale during the holidays but now at regular price, $69. Pricey but well made and will come in handy for a planned camping trip. What they don't show in the pics well is they come with large rubber washers. They protect the surface and seem to keep them tight. Several colors available.

For other flashlight addicts like me, I added a handy dandy flashlight holder today. Super easy 5 minute job!

It is a rock and I think was the heaviest package out of all of the parts I’ve ordered so far other than the winch. Curious how the install goes for you. My shop said it took them a while to align everything, and they had half the back torn apart to install it. Good luck and send some pics when you’re done!

Sorry for the late response. Install went well, alignment took two tries. Closes like a vault door now. Worst part was removing (and installing) the passenger side cargo panel with subwoofer. That thing did not want to come out or go back in.

I ordered the AWE SwithPath exhaust for my 392. My pile of parts has continued to grow and I’m still only in C status (31 days).

Installed topographic rear fender vinyl to replace the clear film. Hood, vents, and fender vinyl all match now.

Also added Maximus 3 closeouts

Removed and reinstalled all 5 beauty rings so the valve cutout is in the correct spot...

Installed some Tux Mats today. I had the Jeep mats in there. But am disappointed in the coverage. I have 2 other vehicles with WeatherTech. Long term they start to curl in and are not as effective. I really like the fit of these. They cover way more area. Sorry about the pic quantity. But the Jeep is in storage mode for the salty season. I could only get decent pics from the passenger side.

Things lay pretty flat. I have not been able to fully install. But am very pleased with the fit so far

I also have a full set of TuxMats. They’re far superior to the weathertech and similar IMO.

Found a set of Mopar Performance Rails on FB marketplace. Very easy swap and am hopeful it gives a little more protection along with slightly helping the family climb in.

Finally got around to installing Seat-Slammers from Desertdoesit.com.
Being 6'5" tall, I chose their Option 2 kit (1.25" front lift and 2" rear drop).

Seat angle is so much more comfortable at new angle. Even if you're not tall, many will like lifting front of seat only.
Don't understand why Jeep didn't offer more adjustability from front seats?
And why they positioned the seat so high off the floor? You can always raise it manually.

True. But if I can get it to last a little longer it’s worth it. As for the mats. More coverage should be less cleaning. Or Atleast I’m hoping. Plus they look better than the Jeep ones.

Just got them in. But a fella I work with has had them in his Ram for over a year and said they were real easy to clean. He had mentioned they didn’t wear like an Weathertech . Said it was better. And they were easy to install. I did not snap them into place just yet. But have removed them for pics for another. Easy out as well.
