Your wheels look so much bronzer than mine. Did you do something to them? Mine are more gray with a bronze tint.

No, they are regular stock. Maybe lighting in garage impacted my pic. I would also describe mine as more gray with a bronze tint.

Fold flat windshield. I get that part, along with lane assist, that it's really hard to calibrate those type of sensors with the folding windshield. Modern day seats are another story.

I agree on the ventilated seats. These seats are very hot in the summer in FL.

Yes, found they worked great on the 2k mile drive home from Granger.

Yep...auto high beams are in the menu on the radio. You can enable or disable them. I keep them disabled because I live in an area that has a lot of twisty roads, so they become ineffective at that point...plus given the delay between on and off in auto I found I was blinding folks coming around a bend.

Finished my driver side switch panel with ARB hose coupling. I also added an extension to my BD LP4 A pillar mount so I can install the GMRS antenna. Now the wiring.

As requested, here's a pic. I need to replace the right-side screw/washer that is holding the bracket in place with the proper OEM screw once I have a chance to pic one up, but otherwise this is th final install. The Power Interrupter for the winch and the relay for the lights are both attached to this bracket.

Got ambitious this afternoon and decided to tackle the rest of the full floor Hothead Head Liners "Sound Assassin" sound/vibration dampener install. I did the cargo area yesterday as noted in prior post, but fully finished it today with the main cabin. It's actually very easy to install, just time consuming because of all the seat/carpet/trim removal and reinstall, and all the cutting and jigsaw puzzling of placing the actual material. It's a simple peel and stick application, and then a quick once over with a roller. Glad to have it all done. Got too late to go for a proper road test, so will do that tomorrow to see how effective it is (or not).

View attachment 1522I put 35s on the 392 and a Teraflex tire carrier. Be aware, the backup camera is mounted differently than before and doesn’t mount securely to Teraflex’s camera bezel, I ended up super gluing it on. I got 35-11.5-17 tires so they fit very nicely with the stock rims. I don’t plan on replacing the beadlock wheels that 392s come with, I like them a lot. Jeep is dirty because I just got done putting it thru it’s paces over Red Rock Pass in Idaho/Montana, thru Deerlodge/Beaverhead area. It’s a good Jeep trail, not difficult, but you need a 4wd with clearance, and a 4L comes in very handy for the steep spots.

How does it ride with the 35s? Also what brand of tires did you mount?

Took it for a thorough road test today with good mix of around town and open highway driving. I'll preface this feedback with as we all know this is a Jeep Wrangler, so it's never going to be quiet to the levels of a luxury sedan by any means.

That said, I'm giving the "Sound Assassin" stuff two very big thumbs up! There is definitely a very noticeable difference. Road noise is clearly reduced and the floor feels more solid or substantive (for lack of more precise descriptive terms) and that tinny vibration like feel is totally gone. The Butyl material also provides thermal resistance, so the cab doesn't heat up as much. It felt like my AC (on auto setting) wasn't working as hard to keep things cool. You still of course get the wind noise from the flat windshield dynamics and the lack of roof insulation (I have SOT roof), but the overall cabin noise level is much better. I also have the Hothead Liner for the SOT that I installed weeks ago, so have a little extra sound insulation to the roof anyway. Most importantly, that awesome 392 growl and sweet exhaust note still comes through!

Also was my first chance to test audio difference after swapping out the front speakers with the Infinity Reference set I posted a couple days back. Again, definite and noticeable improvement. With the stock speakers and audio distribution set to "center" I always felt the rears were dominant and sound was coming from behind. Now it truly feels centered and overall sound quality is a little better. Definitely worth the $50 expense and 5 minute install. That coupled with the overall decreased road noise from the floor sound dampener makes the audio experience quite a bit better (again, it's still Jeep Wrangler though, so don't set expectations too high).

Overall I would definitely recommend the Sound Assassin.

My $.02 for whatever it's worth. Hope that's helpful.
