Added the KC Pro 6 Light bar, Flex Era 4 Ditch light and Flex Era Bumber bar light. Also added the Mopar Bar doors along with the Front Runner Slimeline rack.
I think I’m done for awhile…lol

First oil change, filter location is dumb….

Also put top & doors back on so I could drive it a bit more. Wifey doesn’t like the wind.
I loosen the filter with a wrench, then I slide a zip lock freezer bag over the filter before I unscrew it. Catches 99% of the oil.

got a new set of shocks in, and trimmed up the front fender liners to account for the reservoir hose and added some vacuum line on the edge for anti rub.

Got them custom tuned too, may be a little too stiff in the rear but I think they might “break in” a little as the valve shims get flexed more.

I think I did a pretty good job, thank you very much.

also got the sliders on too

can confirm, with a little doing and patience White Knuckle sliders do fit with full Metalcloak skid plates and RCI pinch seam guards

few better exterior shots of the sliders and the RCI pinch seam cover

How they mount, they use a combo of the factory frame welded nuts and some nut plates

IMG_3175.webp
Front mount uses an inner frame plate on both the vertical and horizontal bolts, horizontal plate has some 3m tape to keep it in place in order to thread the bolt in.

Second mounting point uses one of the factor skid/cross member welded frame nuts
(also has a spot for drilling and using a tapping bolt to for a little extra support

IMG_3178.webp

3rd point has a longer bolt and nut plate that sandwiches the frame. Passenger side is a major PIA with the gas tank in there and all. White Knuckles instructions for this one have a specific line "please, be patient' as one of the steps 🤣

4th is the same as the second, factory skid welded inner frame nut and a extra cutting bolt spot

They went on relatively easy in all honesty if I didn't have to maneuver around / between the MC skids it would have taken even less time.

Time will tell on how duty they are but I like the simplicity of the mounting and they remind me of the sliders I had on my Xterra so little nostalgia there.

Heading to the beach soon so I finally got around to installing the full set of Armorlite flooring. If I were to do this again I would definitely remove the front seats from the Jeep. Rear seat is much easier to work around. Hoping for a little better sound and temp insulation along with the much easier clean up. We'll see how well it works out.

Awesome light combo. Hats off to you.

may i request a few pics of how it hooks up with the LCA bolt
It comes with a new longer lower control arm bolt that allows it pass through the TSR skid plate.

so it scabs off the exposed threads of the LCA bolt and used the existing nut as a spacer pretty much?

im trying to envision/get an idea if my rock hard LCA skids would interfere too much with that tab or if i could modify one or the other

and that is also if Apex lets me send in and get my high mount ram modified to the low mount version considering i bought it second hand

I would think that you just need to purchase the low mounts and skid plate. The TSR should be the same except for the mounts.

Finished up my Metal Cloak skids (pic of in process), and installed the soft top for summer.

I spent a few days in clean up after completing the Dusy-Ershim and Rubicon trails. It took us a total of 5 eight-hour days to complete both trails. There were a few rocks on these trails so even with 4 1/2" of lift and 40" tires my Metalcloak skids don't look as nice as ENDVR's do.

For cleanup of the interior, I have found that this product is the best I have ever used. I use it on pretty much every inch of the inside of the Jeep. It restores a new finish to plastic, rubber, and leather seats with no slippery residue that would attract dust.
