🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Dropped the Jeep off at the stupid place on Tuesday. Got a notification today that they need a few more days because there's a lot of vehicles to get through...why in the blue f*** have me drop the vehicle off then? I drop the vehicle off for the day work is available, not for you to fill your f*****g work queue.
That’s crazy I hate that. You make an appointment to prevent just that . Thanks Jeep way to go.

Stoic likes his new rig.

For mileage tracking, we can use the Labs' Garmin!

AEV has improved the suspension since my 2024!

Took it to breakfast…
Found a way to pay for it…

I had the windows tinted. I used the Redline double layer ceramic. 35% sides and back and 70% windshield (almost clear). It really improved the comfort of my Gladiator and two door Rubi. I got a great deal at $750.

Scheduled a dealership visit for the water leak coming in both front driver and passenger doors. Has leaked since day 1 in any kind of rain if forward momentum sends water forward. And it's a stream of water coming in onto your shoulder, both driver and passenger.

Heard from the dealer today. Seals getting replaced under warranty. Will pick up this afternoon.

I took my Jeep to Moab for the Easter Jeep Safari. I spent 10 days in Moab and ran 10 trails. Here is a trail called Rose Garden Hill. It is rated 7, and for the biggest ledges even a 4 1/2" lift and 40s aren't enough to prevent scrubbing the bottom of your Jeep.

For those of you running 38x13.5, how does it compare ride-wise to 37x12.5's? My off-roading is limited to beach and some light stuff so this is more for aesthetics.

So can you tap into this plug to mirror tap for a radar detector? I’ve done it in other vehicles but wasn’t sure if anyone has used this plug or if there was another one.

I can't attest to the Dongar product or the wiring but here's what I looked at. I ended up using the under dash AUX wires to power my dash camera.

I did the same. ++ it won’t cause any warranty issues if something ever happens with the OEM electronics you’re tapping into.

Heck, the review mirror and the buttons on my dashboard may be the only warranty items I have left 😉

Picked up an H pipe and S&B intake, and got them in today.

side note: I hate dealers so, so, so much.

Ive had a pulley squeal on cold start for a little, replaced both idler pulleys and the tensioner with no effect, it is clearly coming from the center of the front end, which would be the water pump, pulled the belt and the pump pulley has some wobble

so I took it to the dealer they had it for a week, finally looked at it today said "removed belt sound stopped" of course it fucking stopped you removed the belt

said it was an idler pulley, and they wanted to replace an it for 700 f-ing bucks, for a 30 buck part

took me 10 min to and the sound is still there..... geee kinda like its the fucking water pump.

Jeep if you reading this, your techs are idiots and your warrantees are absolutely worthless cus you wont replace a fucking faulty part.

end of rant.

I had posted that I finally found some firecracker red half doors. I had color matched my full door handles and since my tailgate handle is red my OCD kicked in. These half doors did not come with passive entry so I ordered the color matched handle with passive entry for the front from DistinctionApplied and bought a passive entry custom harness that only has the pins needed. I also replaced the netting with some after market pockets from Unofficialuseonly.com since I was already taking the door apart. I’ll be honest, factory half doors are just hollow sheet metal. Total false sense of security. They might keep your passengers in the jeep but a think a small fender bender from the side would shred me up when the doors buckle. Anyway

They also sell color matched keyhole covers if you want to go all in.
