🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Wow! Today was a very productive day. Not only did I get the front fenders mounted, I was able to get the rear installed. Although the front was a complete PITA, it was worth all the pain and agony. The rear install was insanily simple. You are so right Earl 392, nothing like a feeling of accomplishment and knowing that it was done correctly!
Super nice. Are these original Mopars? What made you decide to go for them? And you do perhaps have a front central view picture to see the new proportions with the flares?

Yes, they are MOPAR JPP steel fenders. I had Poison Spyder on my JK RECON and loved the steel over the plastic. What drew me to these fenders was the OEM look, with the higher off-road clearance; very solid.

Added my ditch lights to the 392 that I had on my Gladdy. Didn't realize that they would fit with the triple hoop but they'll work. Not sure what I'm doing with the tailgate situation yet since I have the less than par OEM on board compressor. Spare tire delete or run a spare? She's getting lifted in April can't wait.
If you delete your spare off the tailgate are you putting it in the back of the Jeep ? Are you wheeling without a spare? Just curious.
It’s too bad Jeep didn’t design a spot for it under the Jeep .

Agreed, I would probably wheel without a spare. I've had great luck with the Nitto TG MT in the past. They're side wall is amazing. If something did happen I would borrow my son's spare off his Gladdy. Also I don't do crazy crazy rock crawling. I do like the CavFab and Teraflex tire carrier if do decide to go that route.

I loaded mine on a trailer today. I'm going to see how this works for extended vacations touring the country and running trails I have always wanted to do. Rubicon, Fordyce Creek, Dusy Irshim, Holy Cross, China Man Gulch, Independence trail, and more. We will be starting with Moab next week with 10,000 of our closest friends. Then, on from there.

Nice!
I did not go long arms. I had money down on Evo and King but Evo was moving AND they were out of King shocks with a vague delivery date of this week.
So better to spend $4000 on some bolt on mid arms and make it to EJS than to spend $20,000 and sit home waiting for parts.
I’m not going to lie, I did struggle a bit with cutting and welding on a brand new 392.
I can always upgrade when there isn’t a time crunch and part are available.

Agreed I had a 4.5 RK mid arm on my gladdy and loved it. So I decided the 392 gets special treatment LOL. But yeah I hear you on the cutting up a brand new 392.

Anyone that is considering an engine dress-up, please share your ideas. I've been looking for a dress-up kit but can't seem to find any/many options.
