🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Wow! Today was a very productive day. Not only did I get the front fenders mounted, I was able to get the rear installed. Although the front was a complete PITA, it was worth all the pain and agony. The rear install was insanily simple. You are so right Earl 392, nothing like a feeling of accomplishment and knowing that it was done correctly!

Nice

I saw some really cool after market stuff on a Jeep that was the same year as my old 05 LJ . So I asked the guy some questions about the products . He said I don’t know I had a guy do it for me ? Some things I get diff gears ,cutting the frame . And for some they can do it all . But the more you do yourself and it works well that just makes me happy. You get it others do as well. Build on Jeepsterman and others.

I love those fenders, I’d only do those if I can paint them (I can) and use the American Adventure Lab lights. That I’m not sure about.

There is something about doing it yourself that brings me immense joy. Last summer my daughter and I installed full belly skids along with diff skids. We did pay the local shop to change out the diff covers and engine bolts. They were a little hesitant at first but after I explained it was about her sweat equity and time together they were all in. Time was an issue, but we did it in pieces and had it completed by the time she went back to school. Best summer of my life. The best part is listening to her tell her friends about what she and I did.

applied product to make my 392 shine and repel dust - getting ready for EJS. Bob Seger was singing "till it shines" - the weather was so fine and so was the herb.

Happy birthday to me! (actually is my B day) ordered method 709-HDs with north ridges 25year sale for 20% off, and free shipping was like 1650 or something before tax so free wheel pretty much, and a local shop has the scrub rings in stock too.

Added Clayton Springs, Teraflex 2.1 Shocks and Teraflex Steering Stabilizer. Now on to do similar set up for daughters 2024 V6 Willys with the XR tire package. Any spring Recommendations for that one is appreciated.

Happy Brthday!

Oil changed, drive shafts lubed, RCV axles lubed - 2 down 2- to go - still working on 392, tomorrow will make sure winch works and check gear to make sure everything is in Jeep for EJS.

Added my ditch lights to the 392 that I had on my Gladdy. Didn't realize that they would fit with the triple hoop but they'll work. Not sure what I'm doing with the tailgate situation yet since I have the less than par OEM on board compressor. Spare tire delete or run a spare? She's getting lifted in April can't wait.

Haven’t noticed ditch lights being put there before. Nice spot! Rig looks great. Time for a cone reduction on that front bumper.

I put a set of 35's on it, bull bar and off road lights on the front bumper. That will be it for this ride. Have no clue how to post photos. Sorry.
I can't tell you how many times I said "That will be it...", only to find out it was the tip of the iceberg! LOL
