🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Hi,

for the KC Gravity Lightebar, is this a different mount than that one from KC?
Would it allow the ACC sensor for Adaptive Cruise Control to work?

Thanks
I have the Motobilt mount. The lights sit slightly higher than the KC mount. Don't think there are issues with ACC. Never use it though so not 100% sure

Got the new winch on finally, and had to break it in with some fresh mud. That's what I did today!

That's where your Glock is supposed to go.View attachment 49096
Well, in my daily AEV:
there's

a spare 43X hanging in Sulla's passenger seat:

and cased SS Marlin 30-30 in back. You may not have 4 Labs with you every day so your rig stays cleaner???

I’ve had as many as 4 bulldogs at a time… so I swapped out the carpet for Armoirlite. It is one of the best upgrades a dog owner can make👍

our current two. This was taken on our recent Holy Cross trip.

And our most recent 4.

Installed the bracket to relocate the satellite radio antenna as since I have run the Pioneer 6 platform it blocks the signal.pretty regularly and is frustrating

Unlike some that disassemble the spund bar I am leaving that in place and bought a new antenna and cable to just unplug from the back of the deck and put it to where the new bracket is above ds visor

Have not run the cable yet, hoping the antenna base comes in soon so I can route the cable and hide it sufficiently.

Atlas installed. Just waiting on rear driveshaft. Used some Atlas shifter knobs with no labels vs the plastic that were included. The new knobs were threaded so I drilled a hole in each and used a 10-32 set screw.

They are good and work way better than the door net. We have enjoyed them so far.

I know this is almost a year old, but are they working out good for you? I'm really interested in some.

Yes, I still think they are great. I was going to add them to my freshly painted factory half doors a month ago, but waited to first see how I liked the half doors. The half doors are awesome! So, I'll probably swap out the door nets on them too.

Just a heads up for anyone maybe ordering these. I pulled the trigger in the door pockets and a couple of the cupholders.... by the time my Apple Pay went through I had just noticed that they tacked on $99.14 for FedEx shipping.

I've emailed them, as it's likely a mistake, but maybe don't be like me and just pay without looking at the shipping charges. Oops.

I just went to the site and ordered the same things. Here’s what it showed for shipping. I didn’t enter any credit card info so I didn’t complete the order. Yeah, something’s not right. Maybe tariffs are being applied?

I emailed them right after my order. I got a pretty quick response on a holiday weekend.

Looking at your screenshot, it seems my Apple Pay must have selected "FedEx Home Delivery" for some reason by default, instead of standard. They were quick to make it right, so I'm happy.

I added a OEM looking knee pad to the lower console on the driver's side. My right foot seems to always prefer the right peddle to the left peddle so my right knee always rests against that center console trim which is not very comfortable. So I found a BMW leather wrapped panel for $35 on eBay that I ordered with metal push clips to securely install it into the plastic panel. (The part is called "BMW F22 F23 F87 Center console left driver side knee pad panel" if you're interested, make sure it has the clips included). I used a piece of cardboard wrapped in tinfoil to create witness marks that I then cut-out to make a template. I then used CAD (cardboard assisted design) to mock up the position and cut out the slots with a hot knife.

After that I installed the metal clips and mounted the pad. I actually did it all from the outside so I didn't even need to take any of the panels off, but I took off a few things to make sure there was no wires behind that area. Here is the final product:

It's soooooo... much nicer than the plastic footwell. Looks OEM and it's nice and secure with the 5 clips, the panel bends slightly so its not totally flush at the narrow end but it's very close. Also, I did a full cleaning of the interior so here is a picture of my lil' "tool box" with Thor's hammer (the Milwaukee 2967), some Wera Joker ratchet wrenches, a rail of Snap-on, lots of picks and trim tools, and my air compressor stuff. (I keep the Jeep tool-kit in the armrest... love that thing!)

That's some good stuff! It looks like it is supposed to be there! I noticed that the pad has likely an ABS or HDPE backing. To get it to match the contour at the bottom I bet a heat gun on the back then reinstall warm it will form to the dash panel. Then you can hold it in form for a second while using computer duster to cool it quickly.

Not sure if you already had the Armorlite, but I really like it. I wouldn't have had a clue that it existed until it came with our Jeep from the factory. I'm sure the Sound Assassin will make it even better. Fun stuff!! ✌️

Replacing my Teraflex wheels to the Baja Built Renegade cast wheels. Jeep is in the shop diagnosing an electrical issue so I could only do the spare. Once back, I'll get the rest of the tires swapped over.
