I tried straightening the muffler but only got it so far. What did you do? I might have to get that skid.Installed the Redline hood struts and a pair of grab handles on the roll bar next to the driver and passenger. Also, straightened out the exhaust (thanks @hardhat) and then installed a Rockhard muffler skid-plate designed for the 392.

Looking great and sleek! Is this the Outback adventure table? I was thinking getting the same one, how do you like the design and quality? I’m wondering if the table totally blocks the tailgate vents.
It is simply the best. I have it in my TJ Jeep and had it in a previous one as well. The table has some openings allowing the vents to remain functional.Looking great and sleek! Thanks! Is yours black or grey hammertone back panel? I like it very much.Forgot to answer. Yes, it is the Outback Adventures Trailgater.
The one I installed on the 392 today is black. The table in my 2003 Jeep is Stardust Silver because that Jeep is also silver. I like the black option better for Jeeps other rhan silver. Thanks! Is yours black or grey hammertone back panel? I like it very much.
This is wonderful! I've been following this thread and focusing on the mods/improvements that can be done to the 392, but didn't realize that letting our family members feel/enjoy the ride is another very rewarding part. Taking a spin with the parents in the 392 is absolutely making me jealous. I can do this with my kids but will never be able to invite my parents...Took my parents for a spin in it and drove it like I stole it. My dad was laughing so hard![]()
Which one is that?
I loosened the two clamps holding the muffler assembly to the pipes. To make sure the whole assembly could be adjusted, I spread the clamps out a bit. From there it was simply a matter of pushing/pulling the muffler - crawl out from under the Jeep to look at the alignment - then going back under to make adjustments until it was level. Took me only two times to do that. Tightened the clamps back up and...hid the entire muffler with the skid plate. BUT...at least the tailpipes look even...sort of!I tried straightening the muffler but only got it so far. What did you do? I might have to get that skid.
Anytime my good man! Glad to help a mate spend his/her hard-earned money!
I'm with you......folks on here have cost me a lot of money. Part of the problem is, with the supply chain and the lack of workers (?!).......I'm kind of like, if I want something, I better get it now. Who ever thought there would be a thread on oil filter shortages in America?
The fit is amazing. No vibrations or rattles. Here are some pictures I hope can show how the table and board are held in place. There are rubber stoppers and grommets to help with keeping everything tight.I really like that setup! It appears the one I would be interested in is backordered, however. Question - do you get any vibration from the bamboo cutting board and how is it held in when stowed? Thanks!
