šŸ› ļø What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Went out for a fun little ride in the snow today with my buddy who just got a 2.5ā€ Metalcloak lift put in his Willys. Sliding around and kicking up snow was so much fun. Damn I love this thing.

Finally warm enough to install my Form Smoked Taillights, Smoked Third Brake Light, new door sill guards, and door cup handle ppf.

Overall the taillights were an easy install, but was a little more involved given the taillight housing on the original lights.

Hi,

I am sure you have posted this information before but can I get details on that steering wheel?
Itā€™s an MHF Auto Lighting steering wheel and airbag cover. They have various colors, finishes, etc available.

How do you like the BAJA lights on the hook. they look good how is the lighting. do you feel they are worth the high dollar.
I like them. They are very bright. Not sure on worth but they are excellent lights.

Replaced the OEM drag link and tie rod with Metalcloak parts, and the OEM ball joints with Dynatrac parts. Hard to believe how worn and loose the stock ball joints and tie rod ends were with just 13,000 miles on 37s, even if a good number of those miles were off road miles on some pretty tough trails. Now the Jeep drives better than new, steering is tight and crisp, like it should be.

When I first looked at this picture, I could've sworn it was my 392. Knowing mine was in my garage and there was no snow in Texas, I still had to go check my garage.

Nice Jeep!

I've read that the boots are a big pain. Any advice you would offer?
Thereā€™s a zip tie trick on YouTube worth checking out. The person from RCV makes it look like you can do it with your hand strength. I couldnā€™t. Still required quite a bit of force. I used a length of pipe over the threaded end and a large dead blow hammer. Make sure the inner lip of the boot is almost all the way over the raised portion at the end of the shaft. Pictured below.
