🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Nice! How many miles and was the fluid clean coming out? Also, did you use RTV or a gasket for the covers?

Hey! So milage was 1701 with 4 river fordings and a few small water fall climbs. (Of which I have no photos because my pals are dumb, so it never happened...) anyway fluid was pretty sparkly, but that is expected for breakin. Fluid was otherwise in good order. Side note, it appears the oem fixed or changed locker modules. They're different from what I've seen. I used the gasket not RTV. It was in very good shape.

Nice setup. I read the previous thread too. I know you're concerned with the screws on the slide, as long as you have full thread engagement, plus the thread locking compound, they'll hold fast. Now if you decide to do a head stand on the tray while extended, perhaps anything can happen. Not speaking from any experience...nope... I know nothing.

I installed the Rock Slide Engineering steps last Saturday. My wife's family was in town so they did their stuff and I had the whole day to myself. It was amazing! All of the body mount bolts needed to be filed to let the washer go up enough.

Aren’t they awesome ! I also had to ream out the side bolt holes to get mine flush. Great step and protection !

The RSE step sliders are a phenomenal product with a very clean look; installed mine with the additional cover shortly after I got my rig. Be sure to hit all the pivot points with some spray lube from time to time, particularly after an off road washdown.

@Got Pipe, can I ask if yours is a 2024 and if so, what RSE part number on the sliders you installed? I just had the BD-SS-300-JL4 version delivered from Quadratec, thier site said it fit the 2024 but I asked Rick Slide Engineering via email about the rollover bracket issue and they fave me part #BD-SS-301-JL4, then I find there may be an issue with a bracket change for the '24.

Thanks and cheers to ya. I'm trying to confirm with Rock Slide Engineering now on what all is needed to make the 300 part number work on the 2024's and get that ordered.

Added the Quake LED smoked drl/turn signals and did the fender chop. I really like the subtleness of the turn signal/drl now and the clearance gained is fantastic. Also, before you ask; no that wasn't an owl filming this my wife is just weird.

Just put them on mine also. Cant wait to get it all finished up. Next week fingers crossed.

OK NOT Exactly jeep But it will be sat on a lot while working on the JEEP. if anyone has not seen these. Check out these VYPER chairs that are solid AF and do not tip over. Even when you step on the foot rail it actually has enough weight to hold my 5'7" 200 LBS fat ass.

If you bought the 300 which most of us probably did since the 301 was not available until I think December, RSE needs to send you 2 new front mounting brackets. I just received mine the other day. They were pretty great and fast about sending them.

Thats strange I got a set in October for my 2024 - 392 and they bolted up perfectly. what brackets are you referring to. can you send pictures.
