Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition Discussion

Congrats on the new ride! My 22 XR with 30 psi, measured 41” floor to rear fender flare via center wheel cap, and 40.5” front. I’d curious what’s your measure on the 20 A. Heard it’s 1/2” taller than the XR, maybe higher spring rate?
I just measured a new 2023 High Tide 3.6 with 35’s at the dealer. 41 5/16 on rear and 41 2/16 on the front. That will settle too as it had 18 miles

@guruman reported 42" on the back and 41.5 on the front for his 20A

Definitely has more lift than a 35 Recon 3.6

I’m curious what my 24 392 will measure when it arrives in August.,,,.hopefully.

Curious to know how many folks hate these seats. I personally LOVE the contrast, and would've ordered the red/black in a second if the option was available when I ordered my '22. Possible trades for some perfect 6Kmi '22 black seats?? Rears have been used once...no kids or animals have been back there either. Just curious. :)
I like the seats and hope they are this way for 24! BUT, depending on exterior color I think there should be a choice, i'm not liking them on colors outside Black, White and the grays. Red with Green, Yellow, Blue are not really something I would want, but others order Vettes in different colors with Red gut and they look ok just not what I want.

rear 42.... front 41.5

I expect it'll settle a bit once the springs see some age.
Thanks. When you get a chance, do you mind taking some pictures to show the part number of the front/rear springs? I’m really curious where this claimed 1/2” extra height comes from compared to the XR.

I swapped the LCAs with Mopar 2” LCAs recently and gained 1 degree caster angle. Considering the extra height of 20A, I’d be curious if the same LCA used, which means even less caster angle from factory.

Mine arrived right on time. Going to pick up up on Wednesday. I have to fly over many states to get it. 👍🏽👍🏽

I was at my dealership today and was able to take a thorough look at a 20A 4Xe Rubicon in Sting Gray that they just received along with 40 to 50 Assorted Electric Jeep Vehicles that are being pushed upon the dealer by FCA, according to my long time friend at the dealership - They didn’t even order this particular vehicle - To say I was NOT impressed is a huge understatement. They are trying to sell it for $75K and I can honestly say that I would not purchase this particular vehicle for any price - The overall build quality was poor and nothing about it was inspiring at all. The main reason I wanted to see the vehicle in person was for the interior. It’s ok however I can honestly say my 2022 Grand Cherokee WL74 5.7L 2 Row Summit Reserve has a much higher overall quality interior regarding fit and finish along with the leather quality.
I know they are totally different vehicles however one would expect the overall fit, finish and leather to be on the money for the high cost of these vehicles.
I really hope the 20A 392 I have on order is built with much better quality than the 4Xe I saw today or I am walking away - The 4Xe was that bad. I know they are different vehicles however the overall build quality that I saw today definitely has me concerned - Food for thought!

Sorry to disappoint you but the 392 is no different as any other Wrangler. Basically you're getting the same materials, quality and shortcomings as you would have with a $35k JL. And to be honest a lot of them are not acceptable even at $35k price point. It's a bit disappointing and frustrating but I love my 392 regardless :)

For the record, I have driven (3) different 392’s over the last year at this dealership and they were all completely different quality than the 20A 4Xe I saw today. Not sure what else to say ✌️

Beautiful. I ordered white too. Would love to see some more pictures. Mine is on a hold at the production site. Probably because I ordered the Mopar Headlinear. Economy sucks right now!!!

Do you have the 20A 392?

No, I have a '22 392 XR. Interesting what you're saying, I've driven some regular JL Wranglers and to me build quality and materials were pretty much the same as they are in 392. Obviously the handling and performance is heaven and earth difference.

This 20A 4Xe was a “Real TURD” Trust Me

For those of you who have access to look at a 20A 392, are there any other differences such as the wheel well liners, those random pieces of foam padding/insulation, or or any other small improvements that might have changed on the 20A versions?

Perhaps a better question is did any of those things change on the ‘23, 392’s when compared to the ‘21 and ‘22 models (mine is a ‘21)?

I’m guessing the answer is no, but just wondering if they tweaked any of the other small problems that we have all discovered over the last two years.

Oh yeah, and has anyone tried out the air compressor yet?

Mine has the headliner…..I’m picking it up next week. These pics are from my salesman.

I got to use mine the day after I picked it up to fill up 2 flats on a hay wagon. Took maybe 5 minutes to fill both tires to 40psi. I’m still a little confused how the hose works. It looks like it would do 2 tires at once, but I could only get 1 tire filled at a time

I think there's a knob at each outlet that would let you shut it off.... maybe one of them was closed?

Looks like a few 20As are up for grabs at dealerships:
