Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition Discussion

Yes, it is 1.5 on the xtreme recon. So we are to assume the 20A has 2 inch total. I'm actually still not sure though. They mention the half inch, but it would be so odd for it to come with ONLY half inch.
 
Hallelujah- My 20A just went into “E” production with an estimated delivery of 6/15 🤞
Will just have to wait it out now and hope that it delivers by July✌️
 
I just reached out to Jeep Chat (https://fcacommunity.force.com/Jeep/s/knowledge) to check on my order. The agent did say that it was odd that my order hadn't been updated in a while. He said it's past the regular interval for an update, so he created a case and a specialist is supposed to contact me in 2-3 days. My dealer is also supposed to get me an update tomorrow so we'll see what they have to say.

Similar thing happened to my 2023 XR when it was in E. It was stuck there for 2 months. I was afraid there was damage during production and it got pulled or something. It ended up being fine. Who knows what type of magic (or lack thereof) happens during the scheduling/production process.

That's funny! I did the same thing, and they opened a case for me as well. Saw your post notification come to my inbox at the same exact time the Jeep specialist emailed me. He told me it is tentatively scheduled for this week, so I might not have to wait much longer to see it go into production.
 
Good morning all... After what appeared an endless wait, my 20A 392 in Sting-Grey with SOT has finally moved to E status with an estimated arrival date of 6/16/2023 (which I guess means sometime in July, or so I hope).

Finally bit the bullet and cancelled the 20A, hope I will not regret it too much. Can't live with purchasing 20A at MSRP with older tech, non FF axle, and less safety features. Onto ordering 2024 392 with major discounts, although with some features slightly less attractive than 20A.
 
1st post here.

I ordered a 20th anniversary 392 the day they went on sale.
The tracker stated it was going to delivered April 27th and now it just says TBD.
I contacted FCA to get some more info because there hasn't been an update for 37 days.
They agreed it was taking longer than normal so they opened a case number and said someone will be in touch in one business day.

UPDATE: Reached out to the dealership today. Their response was "Nothing new yet, it is still at the body vendor. Hopefully it ships soon." I, of course ask what exactly does that mean? Was it wrecked or something in transit? And his response: "No, nothing like that! Basically any car getting any unique parts that aren't on most standard builds goes to the body vendor for those. I'm guessing there are quite a few parts on the 20th anniversary that get put on at this stage but they don't give us any details on that."

I guess this is the dreaded waiting period for delivery.

The funny thing is, my dealer tells me that mine is also at the body vendor but when I contacted FCA directly (through chat) they didn't have any info except "vehicle is already beyond the allotted timeframe for this phase" this phase being E- production.

Yep. Same as I. Cancelled mine like 2 weeks ago. Everyday got easier as in, I made a better long-term decision. And if you're anything like me you may start to consider waiting for the 2025 MY (when hopefully there's an option for black seats). Or, just keep/pay off your 21 and modify accordingly, which is a viable option as well.

For Speculation. Will there be a 2025 Rubicon 392?

Going back a few years… there was a lot of talk the 2021 392 would be a single year production, then the 2022 came out, then the 2023. When the 20th anniversary came out that must certainly be the final Rubicon model having the 392. Welp, now we have a 2024 392 with the same bells & whistles...

Dealer says my Jeep is built and awaiting shipping info. Tracker appears to be non functioning.
 
Update on my 20A….Was just at the Jeep dealership with my friend and he pulled up the status of my vehicle which shows “I” status (States vehicle is built and waiting for Inspection) Maybe just the first phase of the build and doesn’t provide any other information.
All trackers still show “E” as updated on 5/9 (from D1 to E) with an estimated delivery date of 6/15….Guess we will see how it all shakes out regarding the trackers and actual delivery dates.
Still haven’t seen ANYONE post any photos of their new 20A…..Has anyone received one yet?
Would love to see some Photos ✌️
 
Just got the official tracker email that mine went into production yesterday. Yea! A Friday Jeep 🙈.

I’ve seen two people post pictures of them taking delivery…..and that was a couple of weeks ago.

Understood - I am not on Facebook however I believe there were a few photos posted here that were off Facebook - Was hoping to see some actual 20A’s posted from members on this thread ✌️
