Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition Discussion

Congrats to those who ordered a 20A. As an original 10A owner, I was waiting for the 20A to come out and planned to immediately order one. BUT . . . Jeep disappointed me! No GCM color for the 20A 392, the two-tone seats with red accents on the interior and gold/bronze exterior accents was too much for me. PLUS, the $15k markup by my dealer!!! $115-125K was just too much for me.

Please share photos once some are delivered. Enjoy!

I was a little bent about no GCM as well. I got Sting, which while not metallic, is close.

I’ll probably cover the seats and switch out the dash. The seat belts, well not sure how to handle that yet.

Same, as I really wanted the GCM as well - Makes no sense they only offered it on the electrified whimp and not on the 392 especially when that’s the color they originally unveiled awhile back when talking about the possibility of the 20A 392 offering that they were working on - Most likely they wanted those of us that preferred the GCM to go electric / NOT A CHANCE 🫤

There are plenty of custom color seatbelt makers out there. I changed the color of the belts on my Demon.

Not hard to change out... just order some black ones from your online Mopar dealer of choice. 2 or 3 bolts each and swap.....

I looked into it. About 1k to switch them out with Mopar ones. Not too bad, but it’s a $1000 I‘d rather not spend for that sort of thing. We’ll see how they look when we start getting them.

My Bronco has the Navy pier interior. When they released photos online I got a little sick. When I saw it in person it totally changed my mind. It looks SO much better in person. I’m hoping for the same with the 20A interior.

Yes, I ordered red. Since the seats are red and black I'm thinking the red interior won't be too much over the top with the red paint. The black in the seats seems to break up the interior vs exterior contrast pretty well. At least from the pics I saw. Now, if the seats were completely red... then not so much.

I ordered pankin metalic $695 (i think it's going to be nice color match with red and black seats) and one touch power top $2200 $95500 total

24s go on sale tomorrow. 392 has standard 35s and 4.56 gears. Big radio (probably 10 in Uconnect 5), new cluster (probably digital one like rams) new seats, new self recovery option(aka winch) and new rear HD axle option for greater towing capacity, wireless CarPlay, trail maps

Saddle up everyone game is gonna change again…. All you 20A peeps have an outdated Jeep

I’ll take my chances. 😉 It’s not like all of the current 392 owners out there are in a different boat (myself included).

Might want to wait for that base 2024 392 model sticker shock before you start running your pie hole. 😂

Oh, and the beauty of this for the few of us who did get 20A orders in is that if the 2024 really is significantly different, nothing stops us from ordering one tomorrow and selling our 20A at a premium when it arrives.

The game may change, brother, but I always play to win. 😉

The cabin noise thing and u connect 5 are good. The rest is nice but I don’t really care about it personally.

I always hated that 10 years ago I was too poor to get a 10A. I’m making up for it with this anniversary edition.

The cabin noise is nothing more than the hardtop headliner. That’s my bet, 😂

I wouldn’t count on being able to sell a non-AEV 20A for a premium when something better can be ordered new. Sounds like the new one will have everything on the 20A and then some minus red seats which I know is a turn off for many.

Oof and that’s only 75 AEV ones.

Looks like I’m even more likely to just trade in my 23 XR for my regular 20A since people may not want them as much either (non-20A) (and since I get tax credit).

Not me. Like I said, I’ve been anticipating the anniversary edition for a long time since I missed the 10A. I’m a sucker for special editions.

I am looking forward to the changes though. Should be cool to see. Wondering how different it will look. Can’t be as much as the JK refresh. It seemed the jk to JL transition was even less than the jk refresh change.

Sticker shock? People already spend $120,000 for a Jeep. Lol
If you will pay $120k for a base Jeep, you’re as dumb as you sound in this thread. 😂 (reading is essential)
