Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition Discussion

People are posting on Facebook apparently the option code for 20A has disappeared already because it sold out. Not sure if that’s true or not.
Dude... it was a feeding frenzy! I'm sure that could be true. I am kinda shocked that my local guy actually got one and that I was lucky enough to get it! He did not have ONE TRX allocation. Not one! Of course, I'm kind of lucky because I ended up finding Granger after I talked to him and saved a TON on it! :)

The option was gone from my dealer's order screen by 1:07 eastern time... We got my order in, and he went back to show me the options screen again, but it was gone.

Anyone seen any details about the hood graphic on the 20a? My dealer pointed it out, and this is the only shot we could find... needs to be a Golden Eagle......

My dealer just sent me a more detailed list of what's entailed in the 20A package.
You know, it's a little more than the XR package, but it's really not a bad "deal" if you will for the stuff that you get and the "privilege" of having a "limited edition" Jeep. :ROFLMAO:

I would LOVE a golden eagle edition! That's one reason I love the white Wranglers.. they remind me of the good old days. :)

Well, that can't be entirely true because my call from my dealer was at 12:19 and we took 6 minutes to spec it I got mine in.

And sorry... I don't mean your story isn't true... I mean it looks like they didn't kill orders for everyone that early.

I even texted my wife to tell her they were gone.... the time stamp on that text was 1:09. Not sure what was at play, but my dealer was not able to select it again.

Crap guys, I think I figured out the SOT thing. My dealer is a half hour away so I couldn't update while driving. But while I was driving, I called the manager and he said that the price updated in the system on my order (it was $96k I think). I asked him if SOT stuck and he said it did.

So when we were putting in the order, the salesman, manager, and myself were all looking at their order interface screen. I went though every check box to see if I wanted it or not. There is a subsection that lists the tops and door options. Then, there is a long list of all the mopar add on stuff (all the aftermarket stuff). The SOT option was for some reason embedded in that stuff instead of being up in the section about tops and doors.

If a salesperson didn't know that, they would just look at the top/door section of their order screen and see dual top, hard top, soft top, but no SOT since it wasn't there in the correct place.

If any of you want to order it, maybe try calling your dealer back to see if it can be changed. Maybe risky business though since it sounds like orders are spent already.

Welp, with that order frenzy, doubt I'll get the AEV, but oh well. Happy I just got my VON in time.

Each dealer got two allocations (and one allocation for one of them to be AEV option). Maybe your dealer put both of the orders in for their two allocations and their screen would no longer let them then pick it.

According to google there are about 2,500 Jeep dealers in the US, so I’m not sure how each one gets an allocation of 2 if there are only 2,000 20A 392s being made. Even if it was one 4xe and one 392, seems like some dealers aren’t going to get any allocations.

I can tell you this isn't true because my local dealer only got one.

Could be true for sure. Or it could have been that it was 2 allocations meaning 'chances' for a placed order, but every dealer got to put in the 2 orders if they didn't have 2 people ordering.

My dealer told me 2 yesterday, then one this AM. When I got there, he said he was mistaken and that he got 2 allocations, but only one of them could be AEV.

That very well could have just been that dealership for sure.

It doesn't surprise me that some dealers only got one.

I can confirm that I was the only customer in the building and the only order for a 20a. So who knows?

Curious if an order with the AEV charge means you definitely got 1 of the 75.
I'm hopeful but doubtful. heh.

Either way, it sounds like the lot of us on this forum that wanted at least the 20A got in. Throw one back in celebration tonight! I know I will!

I wouldn't be surprised if some did only get one though.
It's also possible that my guy did have 2 and told me he only had one. :) He's a good guy, but I mean, he is a car salesman. :ROFLMAO:
