June 18, 2024 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - Don’t roll the credits just yet. The Jeep® Wrangler 392 - the quickest and most powerful Wrangler ever - is roaring back for the 2025 model year by popular demand.

“When news broke in March that Jeep Wrangler 392 was roaring off into the sunset, the comments, coverage and conversation showed us that the Jeep community isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to the V-8-powered Wrangler,” said Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America. “Jeep brand listened and will continue the 392 Final Edition into the 2025 model year.”

2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 is the quickest and most powerful Wrangler yet, featuring:
  • Class-exclusive 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 delivering 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque
  • 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and the quarter mile in 13.0 seconds
  • Standard 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch, 11.6 inches of ground clearance, 34.5 inches of water fording, heavy-duty rock sliders and more
  • Trail Rated capability in any condition with Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case, intuitive full-time four-wheel drive, heavy-duty wide track Dana 44 axles with Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials and electronic front sway-bar disconnect

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition will continue to offer much of the standard equipment found on the 2024 392 Final Edition, including:
  • Exclusive hood and fender vent decals
  • Black Nappa leather-trimmed seats
  • Specially monogrammed shifter medallion and swing gate plaque
  • Standard 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch
  • Half-inch suspension lift
  • Heavy-duty rock sliders
  • Mopar fold-out swing gate table
  • Standard Xtreme 35 Package with bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels and 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires
The Mopar triple loop grille guard and Mopar Jeep 83-piece toolkit will remain exclusive to 2024 model-year 392 Final Edition vehicles.

Thanks for the heads up @258_T18A!

I shared an opinion. I also stated I didn’t read up on the final edition. You might want to ask yourself why you’re so triggered by it. 🤣

I concluded with “just a thought”. Because, you know, that’s part of what people do when they discuss something. 🙄
I just ordered the final edition - then days later they announce my 1/3700 "final edition" is not so final. So yea I'm "triggered". I want my 2K back... My contract was for a unique Jeep that was limited in production and now it's not, Jeep changed my contract. For me, spending 100K plus is a big deal, I'm taking 100K out of the bank. The money earns 5% - $ 5,000.00 year on 100K. I feel foolish, I believed Jeep was telling the truth - only 3,700 going to be produced.

Well, I’m not the person who represents Jeep. I’m certainly not one to give unsolicited advice.
Good luck

They don't have a lot left in the bag of tricks they keep recycling for special editions. Maybe they make the on-board air compressor standard for the 2025 FE? Bring back the Recovery Kit (the red bag with the tow strap, gloves, and two shackles)? A new limited edition color?
The final edition is literally a collection of items from a parts bin. It’s all Mopar accessories and a few stickers and plastic emblems. Hell even the Fathom blue is an existing Chrysler Pacifica color. They created the mystique via marketing. It’s actually a really smart play by them. I mean I guess we are all suckers of their marketing when they shoved the parts bin 6.4 SRT motor that’s been in production for 15ish years under the hood of the JL.
I agree with you!
That video is funny… “It’s extremely rare, it has black interior” 😂 so rare…. just like the other rare ones produced from 21-23. I think someone else called it best in an earlier post, when the regular 24’ will probably be more rare with the red seats being produced for only a year.

Really makes me wonder what they do for the 2028 25A Rubicon which will also be the last model year of the JL. It can't just be the same Mopar catalog bolt-ons + badges/stickers/embroidery, can it? Dear god, please let it have factory 37s (not an AEV uplift) before Jeep goes off into EV land.

I agree with those who are upset that Jeep marketing said that the 2024 FE was the "final edition". Seems like a classic case of false advertising. My guess is that the personal injury attorneys are rushing to their local court to file injury claims.

Many are excited the 392 is still on the market. That doesn't take away from how It feels misleading and that Jeep manipulated people's behavior.

Some may have been motivated to order new 2024MY since it was stated to be the last year or bought used models at a higher price/when they may have not needed the vehicle presuming 2024 was the last year.

In both cases, the 392s could be perceived to have more valuable (supply vs no more demand) or depreciate less directly from Jeep's comments.

Would not be surprised if a class action lawsuit was looked into, whether it has merits or not.

You are right on target with with your assessment and most important in any lawsuit is damages. Anyone who purchased a 392 based on false advertising of LAST and LIMITED are damaged.

Sounds like the 2024 with red seats might be more rare than a Final Edition 392.
I’ve been saying that for a while. Let’s keep it quiet though, or Jeep will bring it back in the 2026 Final Red Edition.

I also posted earlier after the FE announcement that it didn’t seem like Jeep was committing to the end of the Rubicon 392. Responders dismissed me. lol. The Stellantis Pres/CEO stated that they would look to the political climate before committing to the end of ICE. And as was just pointed out, the reference to the 2024FE was a tip off as well.

I’m very happy I have a 2024 White with red interior.

Don't forget us 20As are in the red interior club! Though I think ours are a little different. The 24s have all red seats, correct? The 20As have red/black seats. I wasn't honestly a huge fan of it at first, but the red has grown on me.

I think you are correct in your insight here. The RED seat Jeeps will be the true collectors and more rare................

Best believe Jeep lurks on social media.
Ultimately, they’ll cater to their pockets well prior to anyone’s, particularly the consumer’s opinion.

This thread proves that logic.
Class action suit? Maybe. However, unlikely when you read any fine print.

A bit off topic, yet relative.
4+ years ago, I put a deposit on the Cybertruck.
The price at the time for the tri-motor was $70k.
Last month, got confirmation to complete my order. The Foundation series which comes with extras.

The price jumped from $70k to $99k
Foundation series was listed at $119,990 when I received my order confirmation.

Today, they rolled it down to $113,990.

I’m sure those who jumped early are pissed.
Personally, I’ve seen this game play out with auto manufacturers. It’s worth not jumping on that train early.
However, all studies show, the American buying spirit, just can’t wait to be the first, and certainly doesn’t want to be left out.

I think that last thing is important. I know it's probably not the majority of jeep buyers, but anyone who has been on this forum for awhile remembers the times when things are no longer available. Thus, people want to jump on things earlier than later so that doesn't happen. One of the main things that comes to mind is how they stopped offering XR that one year. I think it was toward the end of MY22.

Same on my 20A - I actually really like the Red/Black Seat Combination especially with the Sting-Gray✌️

I seem to recall some were upset as they purchased the non-XR then it was available again. Similar circumstance.

My thought is this…
Since when do any of us trust an auto manufacturer? Every year since the age of internet, they all have been exposed for poor ethics and business practices.

We purchased a new M340xi in October of 2021 because BMW said they weren’t making the M3 for a while. 6 months later, we see the 2023 M3 on display.
Unfortunately, it’s how they operate.

Yea that was me went down to order my 23 with an appointment 1.5 hour drive they knew I was coming in to order an XR 392 . Sat in the chair and they said nope can’t order an XR anymore. So I left I wasn’t impressed with that dealership at all . Went elsewhere just to find out I couldn’t get factory headliner ,Mopar tire carrier ( glad I couldn’t now) or 4:56 gearing.(that gearing was for XR ), but they made it available on other models go figure
