Emergency

What do people think about the No-Limits to prevent key reprogramming? I'm not really interested in the rest of the features, but maybe this.

Charley Daniels 1989, this song becomes more relevant with every passing day.

I hate to hear this, and I'm sadden to hear that you're dealing with this @Bald Guy. I do hope they catch ALL the scumbags that are responsible. If you're desire is to get back your Jeep, I truly hope that happens as well.

The more I read about these hi-tech thefts, the more I am inclined to want to go low tech defense. If it takes 5 minutes to hack saw through those steering wheel / brake lock bars, then I'll put three of them on if I have to park in an iffy area. Most maggots will pick an easier target if we put up enough blockades. Yes, with enough time, they can steal anything .... but making the target as hard a possible helps deter them.

There are lots of very simple yet effective anti-theft deterrence that any 392'er can easily implement:

- Airtags (or similar Android equivalents) or other GPS trackers (search forum for some options)
- Mobilistics NoStart Remote Controlled Intelligent Relay w/ Remote - Starter/Fuel Pump Immobilizer
- Hood locks, some use keys, some integrate with the Jeep remote (Lasfit Stealth Anti-Theft Automatic Hood Lock System)
- Tazer Mini (to enable the hood alarm)

All the above are DYI that any person should be able to install within few hours.

Then there are alarm systems, each with their owns pros/cons and costs.

IGLA / Compustar. Done

I have them on the 392 and TRX.

Someone stole one of my three Jeep Wrangler 392s 2024 white exterior and the VIN number and license plate and working with the police department. It was a coincidence but it happened right in front of me as I got back home and my kids and wife and parents were home and I got back home from picking up food for myself at a couple of places and then an older Jeep Wrangler four-door with aftermarket wheels black and red Wheels was assisting in the theft of my 2024 white Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 with about 2,000 or 3,000 miles at the most. It was parked right in front of my home. I let go of the older black Jeep Wrangler and pursued following my stolen vehicle and I did break some laws pursuing while on phone with 911 and I backed off after the squad car started pursuing and they said the DPS with helicopters were pursuing as well but not sure if they got anywhere afterwards as 911 dispatch told me and demanded me to back off and pull over somewhere.
I'm so sorry to read this. It makes my stomach hurt. We work so hard to have nice things and scumbags take them away in a second. Mine is garaged but I'm always worried when I travel. 😥 I hope they find your Jeep and it's in the condition it was when it left. But like you said, I'd probably want to sell it as well to part with the bad memories. Hoping you get the end result you want. 🙏🏼

This is my main interest in the NoLimitz product as well. Given the issues some have experienced with the product, I'm waiting to hear if ZAuto has addressed/solved these issues. 🤞

My replacement No Limitz unit has been working great the last few weeks. I took the Jeep off road twice as well and no hiccups.

Same here. I had challenges installing it, figuring out the right wires, but has been rock solid once installed.

Has anyone used the mobilistics relay for a significant amount of time? I live in a high crime area (Denver) and bought one but never plugged it in. The parts felt very cheap and I read that it used alot of battery when plugged in. My jeep is not my daily driver. I could be completely wrong so I would like to hear some feedback if possible.

Had mine for almost a year and use it every day. Works perfect every time. The remote range is short, but OK once you're in the driver seat.

I doubt it's uses a lot of power. My Jeep is sometimes not driven for days and never had a problem with starting it.

I got another theft alert I'm assuming from the same jeep that was stolen I forwarded this email to the detective... Attached:

Is that Sirius/Jeep confirming your Jeep was stolen? What's the point of that notification? Salt on the wound?

Stellantis is very good tracking our driving habits, probably to sell the info to insurance providers, but yet useless at actually providing actionable info when we actually need it.

Not to mention half-a$$ engineering to eliminate key cloning.

I just called them and they still cannot find location on the Jeep. They said they will contact the person who reported which is me and also law enforcement if they get any kind of confirmation or notice.

This is absurd and cruel. Sorry to hear about your experience.

They found my Jeep I will let you know details later with pictures I will pick it up here ASAP

Vehicle is not starting at this time with whatever the criminals did so I have lined up jeep roadside assistance to nearest dealership near my home.
