What are you going to modify first on your new 392?

So far This is what I have done to the 392:

1. Had the dealer remove the JEEP and unlimited badging from the front side panals.
2. Driver & Passenger door window tint
3. Hutchinson Rock Monster wheels and 37" BFG KM3s
4. Warn EVO VR10S Winch using the Mopar winch mount kit
5. Mopar trailer brake controller where the 12V outlet was in the dash. (No place to put a RedArc brake controller knob in the dash)
6. Installed Tazer Mini with optional wiring (no photo)
7. Midland 25 watt GMRS radio (Call sign WRCM696)
8. Pedal Commander's PC78 performance tuner
9. Mopar spare tire relocation bracket and brake light relocater kit
10. BarTact rear seat covers. Waiting for the front seat covers to become available.
11. Installed small plastic covers over the door latches on the pillars and rear tailgate to tidy up the look in that area.

Waiting on ACE Engineering Rocker guards. ACE was bought by Steinjager in June so they are backed up on orders because of the move from Michigan to Illinois.
Did you have any issues with the Mopar brake controller install? Did you do it yourself or did someone else install it?

I had a very reputable local shop install the trailer brake controller and the only comment the Tech made about the install was that he spent a lot of time standing on his head to see under the dash. This controller takes a higher setting than the Prodigy controller in my LJ to activate the trailers brakes effectively. My Prodigy will lock up the trailer’s brakes around #2.5 where 5 is the max setting. The MOPAR Controller gets them working well on #6 where 10 is the max setting on this one.

After engine break-in and getting used to the beast, my "main stuff" list is as follows:
1. Replace the rear bumper with OR-Fab w/tire carrier.
2. Clayton 2.5" or 3.5" lift. Or Metalcloak if available.
3. BFG 39 x 13.5 x 17 KM3 tires on Icon Rebound Pro beadlock wheels.
4. Aluminum belly pan skid plate (Next Venture Motorsports).
5. Warn 10K winch.
6. ARB diff covers

Anyone, how can I find the part number for the “392” badge that goes on the hood? Thanks in advance.

I have not seen nor heard of the PN yet. However, there is a post on this forum from some time ago with a website that makes all kind of Rubicon 392 look-a-like graphics to inculde the 392 badge that might be worth your time to find. The gentlmen included a photo of a 392 badge attached to the back of his Jeep on the body panel above the license plate.

I got it off of EBAY. Said it was OEM. It did have the tabs on the back and you had to specify which side of the hood you were ordering for. I clipped the tabs off and sanded the area of the tabs. It came double sided taped already. This is the seller I bought from:

Thank you! Wife stated that the hood is well represented with the 392, but she wanted the arse looking good too.

It won’t fit on the passenger side on the body of the Jeep, I considered putting it on the bumper on the passenger side but I like the color back ground. Fits perfectly where it’s at.

Looks sweet!

Added the Warn winch today, dropped the front a full inch. I have some Artec inner fenders being powder coated now, getting ready to fender chop with AAL brackets and slim lights.
Love it! Which one did you end up going with?

Livernois Motorsports tune!
Curious as to how you intend to use your Rubicon 392? I had Livernois modify/tune my TrackHawk up to 859 Wheel HP and close to the same torque. What is Livernois recommending /offering for your Rubicon 392?

I used the bullerpoint mount also but ordered from 3 different companies to get my mount done on a ball
What adapter did you use to connect it to the passenger 'handle'? I'm not seeing that connector on Bulletpoint' s website. Or, did you just fabricate something, use a longer bolt??? Looks good (y)
Thanks

Zoom on in. The two sides have different part numbers. The badges have alignment pins on the back that are of different distances, left side / right side. If you're placing these badges anywhere besides on the hood, as there's drilled alignment holes on the hood, then you'll be cutting off the pins anyways. I say this because I ordered 2 badges, left & right side. One badge was on back order for months. I could have just ordered 2 left side badges and received the complete order more promptly.

I used Carolina Metal Masters 20mm ball mount on the handle.
I used Offroam 3.5 inch long dual 20mm arm.
BulletPoint universal phone mount.
Very solid set up, out of everybody’s way and doesn’t block anything.
I also used Carolina Metal Masters doors off mirrors. Zero vibration. Option to add ball joints for phones, cameras etc.
