What are you going to modify first on your new 392?

This past weekend added 35" BFG KO2 tires on XD Rockstar 17x9.5 wheels, Warn EVO 12s winch, and Maximus-3 stinger bar. Next up spare tire carrier mopar 2" lift kit, Gladiator black hood decal above scoop, frame rail trim plates on both sides of winch, stubby black antenna, two front 6" led light bars, some kind of rear led light bars (tbd), on-board ARB air compressor, personalized license plate (tbd), and waiting for my Bestop Trektop Ultra soft top to arrive. Already have a garage lift for 2-door JK hard top that will need to be adjusted for 4-door hard top. The fun rolls on!

Interesting perspective....my black 2013 with a 3.5 inch lift and 37x12.5 toyo MT
Red 392 I picked up today, drove it 2 miles to tire shop and put 37x13.5 Toyo MTs. Look at the height comparison

Did you have to do any other mods to fit the 37x13.5" Toyos on your 392? Local shops are telling me they won't fit without additional mods.

The 13.50s definitely won't fit on the OEM wheels. You can, however, mount 37x12.50s on the stock rims.

Love the bar. I have the front camera so I am trying to find a bar that does not restrict the view. This one looks like it might be tall enough for the camera to look under it. Which bar is it?

I tried to install the Hood Lift Kit but found out the strut on the passenger side hit a steel brace mounted on the right side of the engine bay preventing the hood from closing (see photos of contact damage to blue tape). I post this as “FYI" for others thinking about this mod.

I did not...I’m gonna do a fender chop once all the parts come in but is doesn’t rub on the street, I’m sure at flex it would rub the inner fenders.

I’m installing the DV8 JL cage style spare carrier. I had to undue the camera and rear break light to wire it under my passenger break light. The wiring was done poorly in terms of tangles and I may not have enough slack to run the wire through the carrier swing arm. The swing arm was damaged in shipment and the new one should arrive today or tomorrow. Wish me luck, I have to drill 4 holes in my 392 by my drivers side tail light. Yikes!

Cruising at 80 today...37x13.5x20s in 8th gear the whole time. It would down shift to 7th going over over passes sometimes but not every time. F#%k:&? Beast

Just out of curiosity, what does the MPG drop down to with 37's?

Got it installed. Took some work outside of standard instructions. It says a 12.5 tire up to 40” fits. My 37” nittos was too tight. Had to trim down a mounting brace to get the wheel to fit and close.

Looks super rugged and cool! Feels great when you do it yourself and comes out right!
