That was when the strike was “looming.” Hadn’t even begun yet. Good’ol Stellantis jacked up prices and flooded the market with Wranglers (120 days supply versus typical 30-45) in preparation for the strike. Can’t wait to see what the do after the settlement. It‘s going to cost them, therefore it’s going to cost us.

August 29,2023

Scheduled for production. Got a call from the dealership that I should expect delivery in early October.

September 25, UAW strike started. I called to see if I got into production. They said I was D1!

I’m confused how so many people are taking delivery of their 2024 Anvil. I’m convinced mine may actually be sitting at the entrance of the assembly line. Irony of all is if I’d have kept the Earl color I’d probably be driving it currently instead of waiting.

Nope I ordered may 4th and its SUPPOSEDLY on a truck to the dealers right now... so yeah there are people waiting even longer than me.

Jeep really has to work on their internet communication system. My opinion is that if you offer a service it should work, or don’t offer it at all.

November 1 I received this email. Keep in mind the UAW and Stellantis reached a deal around October 28th.

I was bored last night so I checked the production status website. Says my vehicle entered production October 31st.

So which is it Jeep?!

Like everyone has said (including me) the system Jeep has is about as precise as a hand grenade. My tracker info is still all over the map. and Hashime (or whatever his mane was) has quit emailing me every 14 days like he said he would

. I honestly thought I was gonna lose my mind waiting for my jeep, but You WILL get it, and then you will be happy.

Pulled the trigger. Anvil with SOT ordered November 7 through Mitch at Ourisman. Thankfully just before the 2nd price increase hit. Got the Vin and now the wait begins. I’ll have a fun Black Friday /Holiday ordering parts to sit in my garage for a few months till it gets in.
