Also keep in mind it benefits dealers to say that XR isn’t coming back on the 392:

A. First of all, they never seem to know anything else FCA/Stella is doing. So why would they suddenly know this?
B. Saying XR is done convinces someone to order a non now instead of trying to wait. This is probably the major reason.
C. If someone wants XR bad enough and it comes back, a person may order it even if they already got a non. That’s two sales for the dealer, plus more if the person trades back in the non.

The only time it hurts them is when the person is XR or bust and decides to not even buy a jeep if they can’t get XR. Even then, the person will probably come back if XR comes back. Still a sale.

Heck mydealers said they can’t sell a 392 now.Cause of no xr being available.Said they have over 20 in sold customer orders

You would think Stella would realize this. I understand we have some major obnoxious supply chain issues currently, but the start of the 23 MY seems to prove that we want XR 392s and if they can make them, we'll buy them.

If I wouldn't have gotten my order in for XR I would have been just about as happy to get a non and send it to AEV (in fact parts of me still think about going the latter route).

Not gonna lie. I lust after this jeep AEV370 (as a 392, minus the snorkel, and change the tan to black top).

Word on the street is that new 392 orders have been suspended as of yesterday, 10/1. Could this be the end of the 392?

Clarification please. Are we talking they are not taking anymore orders for the year or are they shutting down all existing orders? I could see them not taking anymore orders due to supply issues and if the 2023's are the last ones then I guess we'll just have to wait and learn as more information comes around.

New orders, I’m sure existing orders are fine. Stellantis is usually pretty good about fulfilling their orders, may just take a while with the supply issues.

Yep. I was working on getting one. The dealer told me they got one allocation and they would let me know what the ADM would be later. I said ‘Cya’

I talked with my local dealer. They said they get 1 Braptor this year and it came in 2 weeks ago. They had a raffle as to who gets it. The raffle was people who ordered a Bronco (any type) but hadn't gotten one yet. The guy that won put in a order for a Bronco literally 2 YEARS ago and still hadn't gotten his order. WTF

Damn!

I got screwed over on a Bronco FE, but now that I'm seeing them more often, it doesn't bother me. It's no longer 'cool' to be the first and tbh, I'd take a 392 over any Bronco any day. Although I might not take any wrangler over any bronco. I admit that other than the bloated fenders, I wouldn't mind having a warthog/raptor, but not for 40k ADM!!!
