Thought there were four? How do you like the sound now?
Not familiar with those. What are they intended to do?
Have had my 392XR since early November and have been loving every minute so far. Just a few pics of some of the little things I have done. Lots of snow lately which is why it’s so dirty.

Do you know if there are four ANC mics?
I’ve only found two so far???
Located in factory roll-bar by speaker location. You can see small group of holes for mic pickup.

I thought there were four. I think I saw it on the JL forum but in the 392 section. There are four spots that they appear to be in, one over each seat. But if you got the desired results from removing two why bother? I might try to just disconnect and leave in to try it. Would that save any time?

Removing the mics are simple. Just pry plastic retainer with flat head screw driver and they pop out.
Unplugging them can be a pain... lift retainer clip on plug with small flat head screw driver and they should unplug.
I had to remove same amount of panels to unplug or remove.

I just looked at Jeep, you are correct, there appear to be four mics. Two in front roll-ball and two more above rear seats.
I was going by what Jeep service manager told me.
Guess I have another project for tomorrow.

Yep
Yes, they are just plastic and easy to cut off the two tabs. I just sanded the two areas to ensure they were smooth for the application, others have also put additional 3M tape to protect, but didn't feel it was necessary. Hope that helps!

Routed SAE plug to the battery for trickle charging with the hood locked. Bought the onboard NOCO charger but opted for a simple plug instead. Thought it might be better to use the NOCO onboard unit on something with a bit more real estate under the hood.

I did the same thing a few years ago for my LJR. I also use that plug to power my portable air compressor when airing up.

5 Tire Rotation today, wear was very light and even at 6k miles. I'm loving these 35" Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws, they're extremely reliable in the snow and ice this winter too.

I got my Teraflex tailgate hinge reinforcement yesterday and I should have time to install today. That thing is HEAVY. Funny thing is the answer to more weight is more weight.Picked the 392 up from the shop installing my lift, tires, driveshafts, steering, and tire carrier. Big shout out to Hardline Fabrication in Pottstown, PA for doing an awesome job the last few days working long hours to put this thing together for me. Waiting on a part to come in to mount the falcon steering stabilizer, which will happen next week. Even without the stabilizer the steering feels nice and tight. Picked it up at night so pics aren’t the best and the weather is expected to be bad the next few days. I’ll post better pics when weather clears up after I get the stabilizer installed next week.
