I made a campsite light using a Baja Designs S1 work/scene light on a 3' tube that attaches to tailgate reinforcement. I mounted some bar clamps to the roll bar to store it. It's controlled with a remote LED controller. It is dimmable with night light and timer functions. Nice work... If you want to light up a larger area you could track down a large frosted bowl type thing to put over it to work as a diffuser.

• AAL shelf
• Custom wood platform
• Dual 30AH with custom hold down bracket.

Before anyone gets on me about the shelf… yes I know the shelf is backwards. It was installed this way on purpose for a couple reasons. First I prefer the plano boxes to be centered under roll cage and second I prefer to have things set forward more for future custom work/mods on the front of the shelf along with some hanging drawers.

Farthest steel is about 350 yards, closest is 100. Both from the benches which are right below the grass line right in front of the Jeep.

Yeah I removed the flares. Wasn’t a huge fan of the look and I haven’t noticed much of a difference in the dirt accumulating on the side of the Jeep since I removed them.

Nothing other than I don't like the fact that they used standard allen cap head bolts on the driver side. There's no room for a torque wrench with bit and I don't understand why they're standard instead of metric. I carry no standards in my kit. I'll be swapping them out next week for hex bolts and even if I cant fit a socket plus torque I can at least use my box end ratchet adapter.

Thanks for the comment, appreciated. I live in the projects, house, boat, and cars. My kids often told me they were bored, I told them they were just lazy. Here is another one I finished today. While I was wiring the campsite light I ended up cracking the panel on the passenger side cargo. Damnnnnn!! I was going to replace it but found out you have to buy the sub, amp and panel. $700, the driver side is only $100. After some thinking I "Macgyvered" a molle panel. I had some scrap aluminum, epoxied the crack and covered it with 2 sheets with 5/8' spacers. Primed, black and clear coat. Normally I don't do mods that cant be reversed but the OCD wouldn't allow me to leave as is even though it wasn't that noticeable. Its still reversible for $700. Looks like bad paint work but just some reflections.

Put together beadlocks and Baja Bosses, or at least attempted to. Discovered that the beads on these tires are thick, requiring ring spacers. Called a bunch of suppliers and KMC, they are backordered and could be a month or two before the spacers arrive.

392 is scheduled to be built Dec 15 so I guess I’ll be patient…

For now, all I have are two individual 30AH batteries taped together and bolted down with a bracket. I have to charge them individually and use them individually. I have a CLA adapter that connects directly to the battery for my Dometic cooler

Since Ive replace my rear CLA I'm using the 120 outlet during transport and then transition to the batteries when I camp. My long term goal is to expand the two battery pack to 3, add 3 more to the passenger side for a total of 180AH in parallel, and hardwired them all to a 40A WAGAN charger some time in December.

@flynbvr curious why you have to use them individually . Why don’t you just wire them up in parallel? It might be a good idea to use heavier gauge wire if you do, or even now.

Absolutely and that is my long term plan... just haven't done so "yet". I was simply explaining, in more detail, how I'm currently using it as the other poster had asked.

Pre-tensioned the winch. Have a new Warn 10k and the last spool of rope had a few gaps in it against the drum. Nows it ready to extract.

Very nice! I have the AAL version. Yours is more simple and thats good. Is that aluminum? I've had a hard time finding any aluminum bigger than 12 x 24.
