That custom wood platform looks JUST like mine. I dont understand what you meant about the shelf being backwards.
I have and do recommend their flat slide 6 x 4. I asked for it without the dog bone cut outs because I wanted to precisely mount my Dometic CFX3 45.

Do you see how your shelf roll cage brackets are connected to the back of the shelf when viewing from the rear. Mine is the opposite (instead of extending from brackets backwards mine extends to the front when viewed from the rear.

On a side note, I have that same cooler, can you please measure the width of ur slide? I need to build one by end of week for my overnighter this weekend on Mojave Road.

For now, all I have are two individual 30AH batteries taped together and bolted down with a bracket. I have to charge them individually and use them individually. I have a CLA adapter that connects directly to the battery for my Dometic cooler

Since Ive replace my rear CLA I'm using the 120 outlet during transport and then transition to the batteries when I camp. My long term goal is to expand the two battery pack to 3, add 3 more to the passenger side for a total of 180AH in parallel, and hardwired them all to a 40A WAGAN charger some time in December.

If I understand correctly I'm guessing your shelf would not allow the rear seats to be used.

I had a dometic slide to begin with but was unhappy with it so I sent it back. Since it was built specifically for the CFX3 35/45 it had some cutouts to accommodate the mounting holes, feet, drain hole etc. I made a template on a scrap piece of hardboard. My template is the size of the fridge with all the cutouts the dometic slide had. 15 5/8 by 24 5/8 is the overall dimensions of the slide but it does not need to be even that big, the legs are represented by the 2 1/8" circles in the rear and the 2 5/32 x 3 9/16 ovals.

The AAL slide I have is 17.5 x 30.5. It is very nice and will slide out 28 inches.

And oh yeah... yes, with the shelf reversed (installed backwards) the rear seats will no longer sit upright. This of course isnt an issue for me since I had to remove them anyways for my Milwaukee boxes but most importantly, my Gazelle 4+ monster. Hence the reason I will be installing some hanging drawers from the bottom of the shelf.

Will also be exploring the possibility of relocating my Milwaukee cooler (white top) to the center behind the seats so it can be accessed while driving.

I actually started with a 100AH battery but at the time i didnt have the shelf and was planning on putting it in the rear cubby hole but the hole is tapered at the bottom so it wouldnt fit. Im please with what I have now but as we all know, things are fluid and may change down the road.

Well, the cubby in the 392 is super small so my guess is no unless your planning on having an elevated floor/base plate

The specs show the 50 ah not much bigger than the 30 so maybe it will. Do you have a battery monitor and charger/controller?

I made a campsite light using a Baja Designs S1 work/scene light on a 3' tube that attaches to tailgate reinforcement. I mounted some bar clamps to the roll bar to store it. It's controlled with a remote LED controller. It is dimmable with night light and timer functions. I will be able to control it from the tent for those 3am hikes to the bushes.
